‘Bigg Boss 8’ Day 58: Dictator Gautam woos old friend Diandra, Entertains and jokes with his Subjects!

The day begins with BB giving out the order to begin the luxury task of the day. Karishma reads out the task rules to the inmates assembled in the living area.

The task named ‘Gautam City’ is to have Gautam as the dictator of a fictitious city and his subjects (the housemates) are supposed to follow his rules to the T. Gautam chooses Puneet and Dimpy as his royal guards who will be allowed to be with him in his royal chamber replete with kingly amenities.

Gautam excitedly gets into his Hitler-styled uniform and indulged in a soliloquy on camera. He says to himself, “Bada sataya hai in paapiyon ne” (these sinners have bothered me much) and decides to settle the old scores during the task.

All the ‘subjects’ of His Majesty Gautam assemble in the garden area. Puneet and Dimpy take their places by Gautam’s side and the dictator himself stands on a platform to hand out orders.

Entertainment begins when Gautam asks Ali to sing as badly as possible to irritate all. Ali begins singing in a screeching and high pitched tone before Karishma, Diandra and Upen. Gautam and the rest of the inmates burst into a laughter looking at the funny scene created by Ali.

At 2.30 pm, Gautam gvies out some orders to his praja and also asking everyone to change into uniforms.

Gautam corners Ali to tell share with him ‘secret’ news. He says that the person who does the task fairly is guaranteed to enter the finals. Ali takes up Gautam’s offer to be loyal to him throughout the task like an owner’s pet.

During the next part of the ‘Gautam City’ task, Gautam asks some housemates to part with their favorite belongings.

Ali surrenders his stuffed toy and head bands, Karishma gives away her earrings and candies, and Nigaar and Renee submit their make-up kits. Gautam asks Sonali to give in her cigarettes. She agrees to abide by the orders but feels offended when Gautam speaks about cigarettes. She says, “Camera mein bolna zaruri tha”. To this, Gautam replies, “Jo karna hai chaure mein karo” (do whatever you want openly so that even your parents know about it).

Similarly, Praneet is asked to surrender his ciggies but he returns to Gautam saying he has run out of cigarettes.

Gautam requests Diandra to style his hair with hair gel and she agrees to abide by his sweet order. As Diandra busies herself in setting his hair, Gautam shares his desire to be friends with her again.

Sometime later, Gautam watches through the LED TV from his chamber, Praneet badmouthing Gautam and passing a nasty joke on his statue. Praneet says that Gautam is acting grudgingly with others instead of using his powers to make a Ram Rajya (Utopian kingdom) in the house. Sonali joins the duo and says she has no problem with Gautam but only his actions bother her.

Looking at these happenings, Gautam tells Puneet that he is hurt to know how poorly Praneet thinks of him and his comment is not befitting a true friend.

Later, we see Gautam asking Diandra to talk a walk with him in the garden pathway. He tells her how it has been long since the last time they walked together in the garden. He speaks very sweetly, trying too hard to please Diandra and revive their old friendship. He also repeats that he harbours no grudges against her. Diandra listens to him attentively without saying anything significant but smiling sweetly throughout the conversation.

In the evening, Ali draws Gautam’s attention towards the dirty garden. His Highness Gautam asks Ali to choose 5 people to help him clean the muck. Ali picks Karishma, Sonali and Nigaar among other few people. But Nigaar and Karishma get cranky and whine about being given the hard task after a tiring day in the kitchen.

All along, Gautam keeps a close watch what is being said by whom from the TV located in his chamber.

At night, Pritam, Praneet and Diandra sit down at the dining table to eat their dinner. Gautam sits with them without his plate in hand. Diandra sweetly offers to feed Gautam and he readily agrees to be fed by her. She sits by his side at the top of the table and begins feeding him with her hands. Gautam flirts with her while enjoying his meal. In the background, other housemates pass remarks and jokes witnessing the unusual scene.

During late night chat with Praneet, Diandra shares that she has often noticed that Gautam has a soft corner for her. She expresses her wish to at least begin speaking to Gautam after the week’s luxury budget task gets over. Praneet nods while listening to Diandra without saying much.
