Bigg Boss 8 Day 102: Midweek eviction as New Year gift for housemates, Upen gets ousted!

Ajaz talks about Sonali being possessed. A prank is then played on Gautam in the washroom area. While Gautam was in washroom, Sonali goes and switches of the light and he starts to shout. After a while she switches it on and wears his jacket and sits in front of the door with her hair in front. Gautam shrieks when he sees her in such condition. Pritam, Ajaz and Sonali have a hearty laugh.

In the morning, Pritam talks to Sonali and she reveals that her two mysterious friends are Riya and Chhotu and they have been with her since the beginning. As she was the first one to get voted out, Riya and Chhotu bought her back in the house.

Bigg Boss kick starts the year for them by sending in some special gifts in the form of messages from their loved ones. Ajaz is handed a transistor containing 4 messages by Bigg Boss and he is burdened with the dilemma of selecting only 2 contestants who would receive the privilege of hearing what their family has to say – for the others, the messages are to be deleted without listening!

The first message comes for Dimpy and Ajaz agrees. Dimpy gets a message from her sister.

Next message comes for Pritam, and he decides to give chance to Sonali and Ali and hence Ajaz deletes Pritam’s message. He also deletes Ali’s message as he wants to give chance to Sonali. But then Sonali doesn’t get any message but a message comes for Upen. Since Ajaz had decided that he would give chance to only those who didn’t meet any family members throughout, he deletes Upen’s message as well as he had once received a voice message from his mother. Housemates do not pose any problem as Ajaz took a fair decision.

The housemates are the commissioned to make resolutions; not for themselves but for a housemate selected for them by Bigg Boss. As housemates are paired with their partners, each of them will present a resolution to their co-housemate and convince them to accept and observe the resolution. In a twist of fate, Ali is paired with Sonali, Karishma is paired with Pritam, Gautam is paired with Upen and Puneet paired with Dimpy.

Pritam shouldn’t lose his mind. Karishma should not hold any grudge against anyone.

Gautam should socialize and make friends. Upen shouldn't threaten people.

Puneet and Dimpy

Puneet should judge a person correctly. Dimpy should walk through a correct path.

After the resolutions, only Dimpy and Puneet get in a heated argument regarding their resolutions for each other.

But all is not happy in the Bigg Boss house. Even as the contestants finally settle in after grappling for each other’s’ resolutions, Bigg Boss announces a twist in the tale – a mid-week eviction! All the housemates are shell shocked to realize that one contestant will depart from their midst without any prior intimation. Gautam, Puneet and Ajaz are ordered by Bigg Boss to stay within the bedroom area since they are safe from eviction, while the other housemates are made to enter a specially set-up graveyard with grim reapers who are eagerly awaiting their arrival. As the eerie feeling begins to crawl up the spine of the housemates, they are made to lie down in the coffins specially created for each of them. With none of them sure what is about to follow, the grim reapers prepare to take one housemate with them outside the Bigg Boss house and effectively out of the game!
After the process, the three safe contestants are asked to come out and open the coffins. It is then realised that Upen is out.

This development shocks Karishma and she gets emotional. Pritam, Dimpy and Karishma talk why Sonali is not voted out.

Bigg Boss announces that apart from Ajaz all are nominated. How was today’s surprise elimination?
