Bigg Boss 8: Day 1 starts with snatching away of sleep!

Bigg Boss day 1 started with lot of drama and action and tasks. Contestants find themselves in the BB flight and tries to strike up conversation among themselves.

Arya Babbar says that he finds airplane to be the most romantic as it is unexpected that who’ll sit next to him. To this, all have their own opinion on this topic. Praneet complains as he still didn't receive his bag and is wandering in his Mahabharat’s Shakuni costume.

Upen and Sukirti try to start a playful conversation. While Gautam gives 'gyan' on Karishma's fitness, Arya calls Karishma ‘lambi sidi’ (tall ladder) and asks her to be calm with his PJs. Karishma seems to not bother at all and says its fine.
Upen nicknames Sukirti ‘Sukku’ but insists him in calling her by her name. Karishma and Arya make fun of them saying in a few days that'll start to a fight. The girls giggle and nickname Upen as ‘Babu’.

Amid all the candid conversation of getting to know each other, Secret society comes to focus. They are commenced by Bigg Boss. They are ordered that till the time they follow Bigg Boss’ rules and properly guide contestants, till that time they’ll be exempted from tasks.

Now Bigg Boss gives them contestants’ bag and asks them to decide to should get their bags and who shouldnt. The trio sits for detailed discussion.

They decide that Sushant, Minissha, Diadra, Upen, Karishma and Praneet won’t be getting their bags.

The passengers try to have some fun and Diandra turns everybody to zombies with theme of ‘Supernatural Beings’. The contestants enact their roles perfectly and walk the ramp which is their house. Gautam raps a song on diandra.

The Secret Society has decided that in order get back the bags, they need to make the ‘SS’ team happy. Hence the members who are bag-less are summoned to a Truth round. And here are the questions thrown to them:

SS to Diandra: Who is most fake contestant?

After much hesitation and looking around Diandra takes Sonali’s name.
SS team also asks if Diandra has ever done anything by going against the law. To this Diandra gives a vague look and says ‘no’.

SS to Sushant: Whom do you hate the most?

Sushant replies that based on the conversation so far, he hasn’t interacted with Minissha that much.

SS to Upen: Among the female contestants rank in order the most beautiful to the least beautiful.

Upen’s rank: Natasa, Karishma, Sonali, Sukirti, Minissha, Soni and Diandra.

SS to Karishma: With whom do you think in future you can have fight or quarrel.

Karishma takes Sonali and Minissha.
Again she’s asked who does she think doesn’t like her. And Karishma takes Sonali’s name.

SS to Praneet: Who is less intelligent in the house?

Praneet takes Gautam’s name.

SS to Minissha: Who has a negative attitude?

Minissha takes Sonali’s name but makes it clear that it is not a negative attitude but because she’s shy and haven’t open up yet.
Now Secret Society team decides to give away Sushant, Karishma, Minissha and Upen’s bag. And Diandra seemed a little miffed with the decision.

Now, the twist comes as SS team decide that in order to get back Praneet and Diandra’s bag, two people should stay awake whole night and sacrifice their sleep. Bigg Boss had earlier given the power to the SS team that though the inmates get to decide those two names who will sacrifice their sleep, the trio can change one name if they like.

Contestants select Upen and Praneet. But SS team changes Praneet’s name and asks Gautam to perform the task instead.
