Bigg Boss 8: ‘Apart from P3G all are playing fair’ says Deepshikha
After Sukirti Kandpal, the Bigg Boss house bid adieu to yet another house-mate this week. Actress Deepshikha Nagpal got evicted this week from Bigg Boss Season 8 after competing against Aarya, Gautam, Sonali and Pritam in the nominations.
In an interaction with Deepshikha, she lets us know about her fun-filled vacation in the house. “Bigg Boss house was like a dream vacation. I felt like I was staying in a hostel. Going to sleep and waking up in designated time, performing tasks, fighting, screaming, laughing and cooking. It was a joyride for me,” said Deepshikha.
Deepshikha who entered the house in style as one of the three members of the ‘Secret Society’ along with Punit Isaar and RJ Pritam, survived three weeks inside the house. As a captain she won the Hijack task, which ironically was the very first task of the season too. Though her loud and bossy nature did not go down very well with the other contestants, however her cooking skills earned her loads of appreciation from co-contestants. Deepshikha mentions that being in Secret Society, members thought of her as a one who had watched them and come here to break their bond. Deepshikha says,”Everything was on camera. We (SS) were on our task since Day 1 watching their movement 24*7. I was just myself.”
The actor was also somewhat miffed with Soni’s immaturity and the way Karishma-Gautam episode got stretched. “Soni just started to comment on my personality. I was just playing the game and behaving as per the task. If I am elected as I leader, I will behave like one. She was just immature and took things to her heart. And Karishma-Gautam episode was stretched like a rubber. I had told all the members to not discuss it beyond a point, but they just went on and on about it,” exclaimed Deepshikha.
While everybody in the house raised an alarm every time they were hurt while performing task, Deepshikha was the only one who kept quiet after banging her head on mirror. About maintaining her calm self, Deepshikha said, “It was just an accident and because I was tall it didn’t hurt much and the glass pieces didn’t hurt me. I was called in by Bigg Boss because they wanted to know if I was OK. I was genuinely ok but I could have screamed and shouted and blamed like all others in the house. But it was only an accident during the task and nobody was at fault. So I didn’t feel like blaming anybody. But I think I should have,” laughs off Deepshikha.
Being one of the eldest in the house, Deepshikha had a special bond with Puneet Issar too. But his good image broke in front of her as Salman Khan shown her a video clip of Puneet backbiting about her. “Apart from P3G (Puneet, Preetam, Praneet and Gautam) all are playing fair. I was so hurt to see Puneet Sir telling all these things behind my back,” she said.
When Hrithik Roshan came to visit the house mates inside the house, Deepshikha was the most excited and shared her experiences of working together with Hrithik and his dad, Rakesh Roshan. “I had worked with Rakesh Roshan in the film ‘Koyla’ where Hrithik was an AD. So I was very glad and over-enthusiastic to meet him. There wouldn’t have been a better opportunity than accepting the ‘Bang Bang dare’ to perform with him.”
