Karan Kundra - My first crush was in 5th standard on my Anglo-Indian English teacher. She was one of the exchange teachers from UK and was barely 21-years-old. I don’t remember her name but she had a beautiful smile and long hair. To make an impression, I actually called my sister and asked her for style tips as I wanted to look dapper. English was the only subject where I used to sit on the first bench and look my best – perfectly trimmed hair, cut nails, polished shoes and I always made sure I reached the class a little earlier so I can sit on the first bench.

Veebha Anand - I always had profound respect for my teachers. I was a very shy and quiet kid in school, till date if I come across any of my teachers I won’t be able to talk in front of them. During school days my teachers meant the world to me and I never disobeyed them.

Ayaz Ahmed - I had a huge crush on my 11th grade English literature teacher. She was a young and beautiful lady and was hardly 5-6 years elder to me. I was so awestruck by her that I used to end up acting a bit stupid in front of her and somewhere she had an idea about it. I’ve attended all my English lectures because of her but never gathered the courage to even speak to her. A few years later I was invited by my school to be a guest speaker for an event and came across my teacher. She congratulated me on my success and I took the opportunity to tell her about the crush I had on her, by then she was already married with a kid!

Bharti Singh - Teachers day is important to me because I spent most of my time with my teachers, even more than what I spent with my mother. But it was only in college that I realized the meaning and importance of teachers' day. Since I was a part of various cultural events in college I ended up spending most of my time with my teachers. Through their guidance I learnt a lot of life lessons. That bonding with my teachers did not end just in college, even till now I am in touch with them. Since I am a learner, a listener whether it was at school or on the sets, I always absorb everything around me. On my new show Comedy Ke Classes on Life OK I play the role of a teacher and I take inspiration from my teachers. I am going to be a friend, a mother to those students and it is going to be a fun journey.
