Kamalika Guha to do a cameo in Balika Vadhu

Kamalika Guha Thakurta, last seen in Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga, will soon do a cameo in Balika Vadhu.
The actress, who is a professional Odissi dancer, will play a dance institute owner in the show. But later, her real identity — that of a brothel owner — will be revealed.
Kamalika is excited about the show. She says, "It is a negative role, but my character is different from the usual vamps seen in TV shows. I am not into scheming and plotting." Ask her why she was missing from television for a year and she replies, "My last show wasn't promoted well, so I was not visible."
