Balika Vadhu, January 15: Saanchi apologizes for her behaviour
Maahi is the last member of the Shekhar family left to prank call Shiv & Anandi. He decided to do so when Anandi and Shiv are expressing their love for each other. Anandi decided to take the call this time, guises her as that in a recording and says that all calls in this route are busy until the next morning.
In the Badi Haveli in Jaitsar the next morning, Bhairav and Sumitra inform the rest of the family that Anandi and Shiv decided to adopt a physically disabled child, Amol. Dadisa calls and congratulates Anandi. She is disappointed that she wasn't able to be present to see her great grandson and says, nonetheless that she is very proud of her. Anandi informs her that Amol will be with her from tomorrow and she can visit them any time now.
As they keep the phone, Anoop knocks on the door of Shiv's room. He presents Shiv with his favorite tie since he would no longer wear it. Shiv happily accepts this symbol of his biological father's love and Anoop puts the tie on Shiv's neck. Shiv is overwhelmed and gives a tight hug to his father.
Later in the day, the Shekhar family is sitting with one another and talking when Saanchi comes to the living room. She apologizes for her behavior with Anoop, specifically and for her mistakes in the past too. She said she understands that she has been selfish and uninterested in other people's feelings. The reason for this behavior is that she wants everyone to focus on only her. She apologizes again to her mother and to Anandi.
Anandi readily forgives her but the others are very skeptical of her apology. They think she's been crying wolf again. She says that she will anyway behave differently and to prove a point she says she will start the medicines suggested by the psychiatrist. Anandi tries to convince everyone that Saanchi's trying to change herself but no one listens to her. But Daddu finally says that they should give Saanchi the benefit of doubt. Anandi goes with the medicines to Saanchi's room and hands them over to her. Saanchi promises her that this time around she'll try her best to change herself.
As soon as Anandi leaves, Saanchi calls her friend Saurav and has a good laugh with him. As per Saurav's suggestion she acted to apologize. He teases her that hopefully while acting, she doesn't actually change into a more "goody" person. She negates it, hangs up on Saurav and gets rid of the medicine.
Shiv and Anandi reaches the orphanage to be informed that the legal formalities for Amol's adoption are done. They go to pick up Amol and Anandi wonders why there is no other child in the orphanage. They've all planned a small farewell surprise for Amol with placards that say all the best and a gift.
The children part ways in the hope that they will meet again.
