Balika Vadhu, January 14: The Shekhars play pranks on Anandi & Shiv
The Shekhar family sit together after the celebration is over and discuss how it went. Daddu says that he had a great party and an even greater day planning it. Anoop tells Shiv that while he has been given so many gifts today, he has one last thing to give him. He removes a medal from his pocket that had been given to him by the Indian military and tells Shiv that he wants to give this to him. Shiv is overwhelmed with this gift and promises to take utmost care of this symbol of honor.
In the Badi Haveli, Jagiya and his family is back from the hospital. Jagiya, in a soliloquy expresses his sadness at almost having lost Ganga. He says that his life will be empty without her and hopes that Ganga prays to God for her safety as his prayers are never answered but hers are.
Mahi and Meenu have planned yet another surprise for Anandi and Shiv. They are to spend the night at Hotel Lake Palace. The couple is very embarrassed but head to the hotel at the insistence of the family. After they leave, Anoop says that he has another reason to love his wife now. The sacrifice she has done for his family is great and says that there is a reason why women are often compared to goddesses. Daddu says that while Meenu's sacrifice was great, the way Anoop has handled the news well too. Ira adds to this saying she was scared too. Even though Meenu did this for her, it was difficult for her to accept it.
Daddu wonders, though how Anoop got to know this information and realize that it was Saanchi who told him. Alok yells at Saanchi for behaving so irresponsibly. Anoop tries to interject and take Saanchi's side but fails. She gets angry and storms out of the living room.
Meanwhile, Jagiya puts Ganga off to bed and is about to leave when he sees that Dadisa is still awake. They're both devastated at Ganga's condition and hope things turn out to be well.
Daddu tells his family to end their day well. Each one of them calls Shiv and Anandi one by one to purposely disturb them. First Daddu calls to ask if they reached, then Meenu calls to check if she packed all that they needed. Shiv's mother then calls him to check if he would have breakfast from the hotel or no.
Just when they are about to get intimate, Alok calls Shiv and tells him to be nice to Anandi and not pick any fights. Shiv sarcastically says that this is great advice trying to be patient. He asks his father if Anoop wants to talk to him as well, and keeps the phone after Alok's denial.
The couple expresses their happiness and love for each other at the end of the episode.
