Balika Vadhu: January 13, Saanchi tells Anoop that Shiv is his son
Dadisa and Gehna are trying to get Ganga to the hospital as soon as possible. When they're getting Ganga out of the house at the door step, the nurse's hand slips and the bed is about to fall. Jagiya arrives just in time to make sure that the Ganga doesn't fall of the bed. He carries her from the bed and they head towards the hospital.
Sonaliji, gives her sincere thanks to Anandi and Shiv for adopting a physically disabled child and says that the adoption center hopes that this will pave the way for others in the community to consider adoption. Anandi, on the insistence of her family, follows Sonaliji and gives a speech. She says that there are no words for how happy she is to be presented with something as priceless as Amol. She says now that Amol is in her life, she realizes that maternal love doesn't stem from giving birth but from the heart. To add to Anandi's words, Shiv says that he'll always treat Amol as his own blood while Anandi will love him as a child that she gave birth to. Amol, Shiv and Anandi cut the cake together and everyone is very happy.
In Jaitsar, the doctor warns Ganga again to keep calm as her any anxiety will adversely affect her condition and the yet-to-be-born baby. She urges the family members to take the utmost care of Ganga and make sure that she is on complete bed rest.
As Amol's friends surprise him with a dance performance, Saanchi tells Anoop that Shiv is his son with the intention to create friction within the family. Anoop confirms this information with Meenu, who profusely apologizes to Anoop for not sharing this with him. Meanwhile, Shiv and Anandi have also joined Amol's friends in their dance performance. Overwhelmed with the truth, Anoop walks towards Shiv and hugs him with tears in his eyes in front of the entire crowd. The Shekhar family is stunned as they don't know what Anoop will say no. To everyone's relief, he says he's so very happy that he's a grandfather now and the celebrations of a new member of the family continue.
Saanch is very miffed at the turn of events as they are not in her favor.
