Balika Vadhu: Dadisa goes back to school!
In the past few years, Dadisa’s (Surekha Sikri) character has gone from being a hardcore orthodox to being more pliable, free in thought and tolerant of modern views.
We remember those days when she would not even allow the child bride – Anandi – to even read a book in her house. And now, when we look at her, we find her to be starkly in contrast to the rigid old woman who would give up her breath but never change the rules of her house.
Keeping Dadisa’s change in character in view, the makers of the show ‘Balika Vadhu’ are set to present her in differently in the upcoming track. Sources close to the show say that Dadisa will chuck her ghagra-choli to sport the look of a school student as she will soon join school for a special purpose.
Now that sounds interesting, isn’t it? Well, we can imagine the show taking such step to move ahead its storyline as the main idea behind ‘Balika Vadhu’ is highlighting social upheavals and showing ways to handle them. What say readers? Are you excited to watch the new track?
