Gehna's is applying balm on Dadisa's back just when Vasant announces that he's going out for some work. He leaves his phone behind and even though Gehna says there's nothing to worry, an omnious feeling falls over the Jaitsar haveli. Dadisa and Gehna's conversation is cut short when Ganga's nurse frantically informs them that Ganga has difficulty in breathing. They try reaching Jagiya, but are told that he's in an operation theater. They decide it's best to wait for him to arrive as taking any action now could be dangerous for Ganga. Realizing that they can't wait any longer, they decide to take Ganga to the hospital themselves. Unfortunately, while on the doorstep, Ganga's bed slips from the nurses hand and hurts Ganga in the process.

In the Shekhar household, the drunk Saanchi approaches Jagiya's parents and starts creating a scene when Shiv's mother interjects their conversation and takes her away. Just then Shiv gets a phone call and he steps aside to receive it. He thanks his caller and approaches Anandi while controlling his happiness. Shiv's younger brother Mahi asks everyone to dance and enjoy themselves. While the guests dance, they hear drum rolls coming from outside. As the sound reaches closer, they see children from the orphanage enter their house. When they reach Anandi they tell her that they have a present for her. Anandi refuses any presents saying that children can't give presents to elders. But they insist that this present, she wouldn't be able to say no to. And they move aside so that Anandi can see Amol.

The adoption officer, Sonali informs Anandi that the orphanage has decided to let them adopt Amol. The entire family, except for Ira, Anoop and Saanchi look happy with this news and Anandi, especially can't contain herself. They all shower Amol with a lot of love. But Sumitra and Bhairav have their misgivings for they realize that taking care of Amol will be a task.
