The war of Kurukshetra is getting bloodier with the passing of every day. After losing Abhimanyu and Ghatotkacha, the Pandavas lost another important member of the family and a skilled warrior from their camp – King Drupad.

Yes, the time has come for the great Maharathis to bid goodbye to their loves ones as the war is nearing its end. On the 15th day, a guilt-ridden Dronacharya decides to leave the war mid-way as he is not able to bear with the unethical practices being embraced by the Kauravas to slaughter the enemy ranks besides other reasons. His son Ashwathama confronts him in the camp as does Duryodhan. Dronacharya gets humiliated by Duryodhan for his decision to quit but Ashwathama promises to kill Arjun in the battlefield. Meanwhile, Shakuni also manages to convince Drona to continue to fight in favour of Hastinapur.

During the war, King Drupad puts forth his prowess to kill the invincible Drona but gets killed by the latter instead. This unexpected loss shocks the Pandavas and they seek Krishna’s counsel. Krishna advises them to kill Ashwathama if they want Drona to surrender. Arjun takes it upon himself to deal with Drona and challenges him for a duel.

Now that Ghatotkacha has wiped off a major portion of the Kaurava rank, only Drona is a major hurdle before the illustrious Pandavas from emerging victorious. But killing Drona won’t be that easy. Let’s see what happens next. Stay tuned.
