Aniruddh Dave’s selfie moment with Amitabh Bachchan!
Actor Aniruddh Dave is on cloud nine these days.
The actor, who has done many successful daily shows, will be debuting as a co-host in none other than the father of all reality shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Earlier, Anirudh had hosted hosted 'Star Parivaar Diwali' and 'The Zee Risthey Awards Curtain Raiser'. His impromptu improvisation and command on verse and language especially Hindi and literature knowledge got him this offer. He shared the stage with Amitabh Bachchan, Kapil Sharma, Meiyang Chang and Neeti in the opening episode of KBC.
Talking about the experience Dave says," I hosted public interaction and questionnaire and also did a skit on Mr. Bachchan and Dharmendra jii." He adds "I was overwhelmed because He is an icon. The legend he has reached a milestone where no one can reach."
Aniruddh was very excited when Siddharth Basu introduced him to Amitabh Bachchan. "I met him for the first time when Siddhartha Basu introduced me as a co anchor with him. And he also mentioned that I am a good performer. I was honored. And then I also got confused because I was not sure how to exchange pleasantries with him. Whether to shake hands or say a Namaste or touch his feet. At the end I did three things together."
Big B also praised Aniruddh for his energy and they both clicked a lot of selfies. "I was overwhelmed when for the first time he hugged me and also clicked few selfies and he also changed his faces for different expressions. I got very emotional."
Aniruddh saw Sholay when he was only 12; his mother took him for this. And recently, Aniruddh took his mother for watching Sholay 3D. "My other favourites are Agnipath, Dewaar and the list is endless."
What attracts him to Mr. Bachchan, we asked him. "He has oodles of energy in him. No one can't compete. He is very particular about everything. New comers should learn from him. He doesn't sit while working. He does it in one go. He is so active works day and night. The way he concentrates on the content is outstanding. He is the performer of the millennium, said the happy actor. He further added, “He has an amazing persona. I always used to think when I would get to work with him. Finally I did but there is no end to wishes. So I must say. Picture abhi baaki hai dost and one day I wish to work with him in a film” .
Aniruddh Dave will be seen in the first episode of KBC as an anchor.
