Review: Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7- Blockbuster hit!!!
This season of Colors' Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is a super duper hit! Yes, the creative team and everyone else behind the show has put in oodles of hard work and creativity to make this show look grandeur and different from anything else on Indian television. The excellent marketing and promotional activities around the show made it a sure shot eye candy for the viewers.
Moreover, the amazing and sought after line up of celebrities of JDLJ 7 definitely brought some brownie points to the show. The beginning of the episode with all three judges and choreographers dancing, successfully set the mood for this exciting season. New anchors, Ranvir Shorey and Drashti Dhami also looked great together. Ranvir definitely is more humorous than Drashti but she over powers her anchoring skills with her hot looks. But both balanced each other quiet well.
Then came the introduction round of contestants which they killed it by their performances. It looked like they were dancing for the marks, as it was done with so much precision. Entry of Humpty Sharma and his dulhania -Varun Dhawan and Aliaa Bhatt added the zing factor to the on going masti. Both of them were very natural and had lot of fun. They were a treat to watch.
The competition began with outstanding performances by all the contestants especially Sophie, Ashish and Shakti. Little Akshat stole our hearts with his witty and cute answers. Palak was like icing on the cake. She is too good to ignore!! The contestants broke the boundaries of the set and went out to perform their best. This year's performances have certainly raised the competition level. From beautiful aerial acts to breath taking stunts, these contestants did all in the very first episode.
The fun quotient continued the next day with Khiladii Kumar and Sonakshi who didn't let the celebration mood sizzle. Diva Madhuri enchanted the audiences with her never seen before act. Last but not the least, Lauren and Salman showed us their jaw dropping grooves. They gave a challenge to the participants for the next week. It was a good idea to bring them in as JDLJ is incomplete without them.
All in all, JDLJ7 is the new funda for weekend fun! We really hope it keeps us entertaining with its unique concepts. What do you say readers, did you like the first weekend of JDLJ7?
