Jodha-Akbar: Jalal challenges Ruqaiya Begum for a one-on-one competition with Jodha Begum!
As we told the other day that Ruqaiya Begum’s growing insecurity is making her to take all the wrong decisions and mess-up with the wrong people. Ruqaiya, whose autocratic rule over the Harem has end up rubbing other Begums and maids the wrong way, is now worked-up due to the fear of losing her power to the multi-faceted Jodha Begum.
Looking at the growing discontent among the women of the Harem due to Ruqaiya Begum’s persistent arrogance, the members of women’s quarters have unanimously voted for Jodha Begum as a better replacement for Jalal’s First Begum.
Being (over)confident of Jodha’s inexperience in handling the Harem, Ruqaiya too wants her to try her hand at it ‘coz she will end up failing anyway. However, contrary to Ruqaiya Begum’s expectations, Jalal thinks that Jodha has it in her to do any job with even sans any work experience. Keeping in view this unique aspect of Jodha, the Emperor Jalal has warned Ruqaiya to watch out as she may have to suffer defeat at the hands of his Rajvanshi Begum.
We can’t agree more with Jalal but at the same time wonder how Ruqaiya Begum will be make peace with these new changes.
