In Pics: Adaa Khan takes cue from beau Ankit Gera to get inked!
The latest actor in the tinsel town to get a tattoo is Adaa Khan who was last seen in Sony Pal's 'Piya Basanti Re'. Adaa made the tattoo in memory of her late mother whom she lost last year.
The actress says, "I have made tattoo on my right hand below my palm. I have personally designed it and the word inscribed is 'Maa' with angel wings."
So what is the feedback on it? "Many of my friends also want to get a tattoo done. And I never imagined that I too will get a tattooed. After getting it done, I was very emotional and at the same time happy also. In our religion tattoo is not appreciated and my family members were offended; but I am sure Allah will understand me. I hope he forgives me as the tattoo is a dedication to my mom Parvin Khan."
She goes on to say, "The tattoo I have definitely has an emotional value as my mom has always stood by me and is still with me like a guardian angel. And that's why I made those angel wings next to Maa."
Adaa got the idea from her former beau Ankita Gera 'coz she was by his side when he he got inked. She adds, "I also feel the culture of tattoos are here to stay. But I will not have another tattoo."
