Kumkum Bhagya: Abhi burns his hand while trying to tie Pragya and Suresh’s knot!
In a special hour long episode this weekend, preparations for Abhi and Pragya’s marriage were on full swing while the bride, Pragya, elopes!
The priest asks to get the bride in order to get ceremony started. Abhi goes ahead to bring Pragya. He is shocked to find that Pragya has eloped as he sopts a sari tied down the balcony. Abhi runs to Pragya’s home as he thinks she must be hiding there. Aaliya taunts saying that first Pragya made Purab elope from his marriage now seeing a bleak future with Suresh she has eloped from her own marriage. Tanu calls Pragya characterless and Sarla revolts saying that Tanu herself is characterless as she is not only having an affair with somenone else’s but also staying at his place. In society such girls bring shame. A shameless Tanu has no self respect and still waits there waiting to get married to Abhi once Pragya gets married.
Abhi doesn’t find Pragya at her home. When he reaches her home, seeing the marriage hall, Abhi reminisces the days when he fought for Pragya and his family. He returns home and announces that Pragya is not even at her home. Thinking that Pragya has committed suicide, Bulbul insults Abhia saying that now he should be happy as finally he is successful in driving her sister away. She calls him a fool as he doesn’t have a brain of his own and dances to what others say. Purab and Abhi leaves again in search of Pragya.
We see Pragya is really trying to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. On the other hand, Abhi and Purab show Pragya’s pic to roadside people who inform them about Pragya’s whereabouts. Pragya is about to fall off the bridge, but our hero Abhi just arrives at the nick of the time and saves her.
The two again return to their usual banter mood and Abhi taunts saying she should have tried from a greater height if she had her hearts to commit suicide so much.
Suresh too, leaves in search of Pragya but returns once he gets news of Pragya coming back to the house.
Abhi brings back Pragya to their home. He asks her to sit in the mandap quietly or face dire consequences. He threatens her that as media is waiting outside, she should either release her wedding pics or her MMS clip.
Abhi himself drapes Pragya’s veil and a mishap occurs while trying the knot. He burns his fingers and Pragya rushes to her room to get ointment.
