The pictures from the functions have flooded the social media.  Dressed in a lehenga and crop top, Rubina looked no less than a princess. Abhinav complimented her very well. He looked dashing in a blue kurta with white pants.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Rubina revealed the destination of her wedding.

Talking about her wedding venue, she said, “I always wanted a fairy tale wedding and wanted to get married in a palace, and I am glad that this dream will come true. It is a privilege and an honour that Raj Kumar Uday Singh said that they would love to host the wedding at the palace. It is a beautiful heritage palace that has stood since the time of the British rule.”

Speaking about her marriage to a leading daily, Rubina had said, “We have chosen Shimla for various reasons. To begin with, most of our relatives are settled there. However, the prewedding functions will take place in Mumbai and Ludhiana, which Abhinav’s hometown. We are not going in for an elaborate ritual, as for us, what matters most is the saat phere. We both wanted it to be an outdoor affair. Abhinav, being an adventure junkie, wished to exchange vows amidst the mountains, in the lap of nature. I, too, wanted a day wedding with lots of natural light and greenery around.”

When the leading daily asked her if she is having any pre-wedding jitters, the actor had stated, “I am not someone who will have jitters. The idea is to grow old together and know each other better, gradually. I am looking forward to exploring new things with him by my side. I believe that one shouldn’t know everything about his/her partner at one go. Slow discovery of each other lends newness to the relationship and keeps the spark alive.”

On her honeymoon plans, Rubina had added, "Well, that can happen later. I don’t mind waiting for it, as anticipation adds to the excitement."
