Karan Patel receives a heartwarming surprise as he wins Best Actor for Gold Awards 2017
Karan Patel's dog Naughty joins him on stage at the Gold Awards 2017.
Karan Patel's popularity increases by the day as she stars as Raman in Star Plus' Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. It was no surprise that he was honoured with the Best Actor award at the Gold Awards 2017. This is the fourth consecutive time that he has won the acting honour.
When he went up on stage to accept the award he was accompanied by his real-life wife Ankita Bhargava and reel-life wife Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya as well as Vivek Dahiya. But the real surprise of the night was when Karan and Ankita's pet dog Naughty joined them on stage and was all over Karan. Karan's happiness was evident on his face and we can even see Divyanka petting the dog.
Karan took to Instagram to share a sweet message on his win. He said, "4th consecutive year the #BestActorInALeadingRole award chooses to come home with #Me, yet again! Thankyou #GoldAwards and @vikaaskalantri for this #recognition and Thank You my #Friend my #Mentor @ektaravikapoor to give me the platform to make myself #Recognised ...! Love you Ektaaa .....!"
He then added, "A #HeartfeltThankYou for your #Unconditional #Love and #Support .... aap hai toh hum hai ...! #MyFansMakeMeWhatIAm n I'm not jus saying it, I MEAN IT. Keep loving me and I shall keep working harder to keep that love coming ...!"
Ankita also wrote a sweet message for her loving husband. She said, "Watching him grow with each passing year isn't a surprise! Cos I can see where this journey is leading him to!
