Twisted Episode 1: Nia Sharma, Namit Khanna's web series unravels a murder mystery
The first episode of Nia Sharma and Namit Khanna's Twisted, directed by Anupam Santosh Saroj and penned by Vikram Bhatt, unravels a murder mystery.
After wowing the audience with his first web series Maaya, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has now released his second web series titled Twisted. Starring Nia Sharma and Namit Khanna in the lead, the first episode of Twisted went live yesterday at 6.00 pm.
The first episode builds up the plot for the audience, introducing to us the characters of Alia Mukherjee and Ranbir Raichand played by Nia and Namit respectively. The first episode also brings to us two other characters - Aryan Mathur and Disha played by Rahul Raj and Tia Bajpai. Both Aryan and Disha, who belong to the CID, are investigating a case that involves the murder of Ranbir Raichand's wife. What happens next forms the main crux of the first episode.
Twisted is directed by Anupam Santosh Saroj and is penned by Vikram Bhatt.
While shooting for the series' bold scenes the two apparently met and bonded, so that their camaraderie on camera would look effortless. Recently, when we interviewed Namit and asked him about his experience of working with Nia, he said, "You want me to be honest? I wasn't intimidated at all. In fact, I didn't know who she was till I googled her and found out who she is. I am used to being around pretty women so it doesn't really affect me. But of course, she has got an excessive amount of screen time and she has been through a lot of shoots, so there is some sort of comfort which I appreciate and that was intimidating."
