Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Gayatri vows to protect Ranaji by the power of her chastity!
In the recent episode, we saw Gayatri bringing Ranaji to the secret room where she saw Sulakshna’s skeleton lying on the ground. Ranaji gets shocked in disbelief to see the skeleton; however, before he could check it properly, he and Gayatri hear someone crying for help in the room. They look around and see Badi Rani lying with hands tied in a corner. Gayatri gets stumped, while Ranaji rushes to Badi Rani’s rescue. Badi Rani starts accusing Gayatri for attempting to kill her. Ranaji looks baffled to learn this and slaps Gayatri for committing such a degrading act. Gayatri, however, keeps on defending herself and blames Badi Rani for falsely accusing her. Ranaji takes Gayatri to their room and tells that he knows she did not wish to kill Badi Rani, but the after-effects of the bomb blast have left her in a state of trauma. He walks out of the room refusing to further listen to Gayatri.
Later, Badi Rani pretends to be hurt about being alleged by Gayatri for the death attacks on Ranaji, and tells Ranajji that she is leaving the palace. Raj Mata confronts Badi Rani and asks why of all the people, Gayatri only alleged her for all the mishaps. Badi Rani cunningly passes the buck on Raj Mata saying that it is all because she has sown seeds of hatred in Gayatri’s heart. Badi Rani sheds crocodile tears and says that because she is Ranaji’s step grandma, she has no rights on him but can only fulfil her duties. Ranaji gets moved by Badi Rani’s plight and hands over the keys of Gayatri’s room to Badi Rani. Raj Mata gets shocked to witness this scene, while Badi Rani smiles in her heart. After Ranaji leaves, Badi Rani challenges Raj Mata saying that it is cakewalk for her to deal with Raj Mata and Gayatri. Raj Mata gets worried and decides to find out what plan do the (fake) Sulakshna and Badi Rani Ma have up their sleeves.
Afterwards, Badi Rani and the fake Sulakshna aka Jhumki visit Gayatri’s room. Badi Rani taunts Gayatri and ask her to accept her defeat. Gayatri answers back saying that the power of a devoted wife is tremendous and vows to protect Ranaji by that same power. Badi Rani says that in two days she will kill Gayatri and then move on to remove her final hurdle – Ranaji. Gayatri accepts the challenge and says that she won’t die unless she exposes Badi Rani and Sulakshna before Ranaji.
