Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani: Ranaji & Gayatri come closer; Kokila threatens Princess Swarna to produce an heir with her gay son Lakshya!
In the recent episode, we saw Rani Gayatri and Ranaji returning to the palace after dealing with the revolutionaries in the village where Gayatri had to be taken for recovery from her injuries. Raj Mata welcomes the royal pair wholeheartedly and gladdens to behold the positive change in Ranaji’s demeanour towards Gayatri.
Later, Ranaji passes by Gayatri’s room and sees her struggling to tie the string of her blouse whilst trying to be careful about her arm injury. He enters her chamber and ties the string for her. Gayatri is unable to contain her joy to see Ranaji getting closer to her.
Kokila visits the attic where Swarnalekha has been kept hidden. She cries for release from the torture but her plea goes unheeded as Kokila asks her to give heir first despite knowing very well that Prince Lakshya is gay.
At the dinner table, while Raj Mata gets glad to see Ranaji being chivalrous towards Gayatri, Kunwar Rani and Kunwar uncle get jealous to see the couple’s healthy bonding.
Gayatri notices Princess Swarnalekha’s absence and enquires about her whereabouts. Lakshya and his wicked parents lie about Swarna saying that she is seriously unwell and is resting in her room. After finishing dinner, Gayatri leaves for Swarna’s chamber to see her. Kokila removes Swarna from the darkened attic where she was held captive, ties up her hands with a rope and seals her mouth to prevent her from speaking. She hides Swarna under the bed of her chamber and before Gayatri arrives, Kokila lays down on the bed wearing a blanket all over. Gayatri enter the room and assumes the person lying down on the bed to be Swarnalekha. She speaks her mind to her, but feels strange when she fails to receive any reply from her. Meanwhile, Swarna notices Gayatri sitting on the bed and tries to attract her attention by moving herself beneath the bed. However, before she could do so, Kunwar uncle asks Gayatri leave the room so that Swarna could rest properly.
On the other hand, Raj Mata speaks to her personal attendant Yashoda and reveals how one bullet shot at her behest united Ranaji and Gayatri. She also opens up about intentionally leaving the palace for a few days so that Ranaji is compelled to look after Gayatri and warms up to her. The mystery woman hears this private conversation while standing at the door. Raj Mata gets alert as soon as she notices the mystery woman and shouts at the palace guards to catch hold of her.
