Kunal surprises Kuhu with a gift. Abir makes a shocking announcement.
Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke begins with Mishti reading Nanu’s letter in which he asks her to promise him that she will marry Abir only. Mishti thinks that Nanu's sacrifice should not go in vain and she will try to do everything for the same. Meenakshi calls women from an NGO to buy sarees from them. She gets tensed hearing that Parul is sitting with Abir. Nidhi tells Kunal to select one saree for Kuhu too. He gets confused after getting a message from the lawyer.
Rajshri tells Jasmeet that she is doing a favor for them by coming to Mishti’s function. Vishambar thanks her for the same but Jasmeet tells them that it is her family. The lawyer hands over divorce papers to Kunal but he thinks of changing his mind while Varsha receives Kuhu’s letter. She unfortunately gives it to Mishti and they leave. Nanu gets happy seeing Parul blessing Abir for his future. Abir shares his problem with them while Mishti calls him out to talk.
Kuhu asks Kunal to leave for changing her outfit but he surprises her with a new dress. Abir meets Mishti and tells her about thinking of moving to new place but Mishti refuses ti listen to him. They both decide to not discuss bad things for that day. Mishti asks for Kuhu but Nidhi makes everyone feel awkward with her answer. Kunal asks Kuhu why she didn’t wear the saree post which Kuhu reminds him of their divorce.
Abir promises everyone to make them happy. Meenakshi asks them to organize Abir and Mishti’s marriage on 15th February. Vishambar also agrees to that. Meenakshi gives a gift as a token to Mishti but Abir stops her. He asks her to not take part in his wedding which makes everyone shocked. Meenakshi doesn’t say a word and leaves from there. Mishti thinks that what Abir is doing is not right.
