Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke September 30, 2019 Written Update: Abir unites with his father
Today in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, as Abir is about to leave the house Mishti arrives there with Mehul and fulfills Abir’s wish to find his father on his birthday.
In today’s episode, everyone tries to convince Abir to not leave the house. Parul pleads Abir but he tells her that even she betrayed her trust by not telling him the truth. He gets teary eyed and asks Meenakshi how she is unable to see the pain behind his smile even though she is his mother. When Kunal stops him, he tells him that he could ask him to choose between his brother and his mother but he won’t do so. As Abir walks down the stairs with his bag, Kuhu tries to stop him. He asks Kuhu to take care of the family and makes her promise that she’ll never leave the family. He also asks her to not tell Mishti about this as he doesn’t want her to blame herself.
As Abir is about to walk out, Mishti arrives at their door. She tells him that she failed every time she tried to surprise him but this time she has the perfect birthday gift for him. She shows him that she found his father as Mehul walks through the door. Abir is shocked to see Mehul. To make him believe that he is his father, Mishti shows him the family photo that Mehul had in his wallet. The clock strikes 12 and Mishti wishes Abir happy birthday. Abir feels overjoyed and touches Mehul’s feet. Mehul hugs him and Abir recollects all the good memories he had with his father. Mishti tells Yashpal and the family that they had saved Mehul as he was drowning earlier. Yashpal tells Abir that he was very young when Mehul left so he probably doesn’t remember a lot of things. He tells Mehul that he remembers everything perfectly. Mehul asks Yashpal for forgiveness. Mehul sees Kunal and says that he didn’t know he had another son. He asks Kunal for a hug but Kunal doesn’t hug him. Later, Mishti tells the family that she found Mehul in Rajkot when some goons were beating him up. Mehul looks at Meenakshi as he knows that she had sent the goons for him but tells the family that he doesn’t know why they were after him. Later, Meenakshi agrees to let Mehul stay in the house as it is Abir’s birthday and he deserves to get whatever he wants.
Everyone leaves the living room. Mehul thanks Mishti for uniting him with his family and Abir. Abir offers to drop Mishti back home but she asks him to spend time with his father instead. Mehul promises to answer all questions that Abir has. Later, Kuhu sees Kunal aggressively punching pillows and stacking them on the bed. She asks Abir to help him. Abir tells her that if she tells Kunal whatever he wants to say first then he will automatically calm down because he thinks nobody understands him. Kuhu thanks him for his help and tells him that he can always come to her for help too. Meanwhile, Parul apologises to Meenakshi as she was going through everything alone. Meenakshi hugs her and forgives her. She tells Parul that all of this has happened so quickly, she has no idea what she should do next.
