Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke October 2, 2019 Written Update: Mehul defends himself
Today in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, Meenakshi tries to expose Mehul’s truth to Abir but Mehul tells the truth from his perspective and wins Abir’s trust.
In today’s episode, before Abir opens the envelope, Mehul tells him the truth as his gift to him. He tells him that years ago he did leave the house but it was not because he committed a fraud. It was only because he had no way to prove himself innocent and the police would have arrested him if he hadn’t fled. He didn’t want Abir to be called a fraudster’s son so he did what he felt was right. He tells Abir that he is weak but he is not a thief. Kunal tries to instigate Abir and says that Mehul has confessed that he deserted them. He asks Abir to believe Meenakshi and support her. Abir says that they don’t know what Mehul’s truth is so they cannot judge him like that.
Parul gets emotional and tells Abir that she knows Meenakhsi better than he does and whatever she did for them was completely on her own and for their own good. She asks him to pay attention to what is in the envelope. Meenakshi and Yashpal think to themselves that Abir might feel as if they forcefully are trying to make Abir believe them. Abir sees the articles of fraud about Mehul in the newspapers and other documents. Yashpal tells him that he put those in the envelope but Abir says that he knows only Meenakshi can do such a thing. Parul tries to make Abir understand that he’s supporting the wrong man. Kuhu stops everyone from fighting and says that they should be celebrating Abir’s birthday instead. Meenakshi agrees with her and decides to not talk about anything else other than Abir and his birthday.
Mishti wonders what would have happened at the Rajvansh house. Her acquaintance from Abir’s NGO brings her the gift that she had ordered. Later, she gets a video call from Abir and he explains her everything that happened at home. Meanwhile, Parul talks to Yashpal as she’s worried that everyone will find out that Kunal is her son. Abir walks outside for network where Yashpal and Parul are talking but before he could overheat anything they see him and change the topic. Abir asks Mishti to meet him. Jasmeet overhears Mishti and she realises that she is planning a surprise for Abir. While Kuhu is on the call with Varsha, Jasmeet talks to her and informs her about Mishti’s plan. Later, Kuhu asks Kunal to help him to not let Abir meet anyone until the party. Later, Meenakshi tries to intimidate Mehul but he tells her that this time he will not leave his son.
