Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke November 12, 2019 Written Update: Mishti and Abir get engaged

In today’s episode, Mishti sees that Mehul is trying to leave and she stops him by saying that the engagement ceremony is about to begin. Mishti signals Kuhu to do something to keep Mehul in the house. Kuhu remembers that Mishti is suspicious of Mehul and she begins to perform a dance. Mishti and everyone else join her and celebrate. They all surround Mehul and keep him from leaving. Later, Yashpal asks where Meenkashi is as they need to begin the ceremony. Abir tells everyone that they had a little fight because of which she left. But he clarified that he didn’t ask her to leave. Mehul decides to use this opportunity and tells eveyrone that he will get Meenakshi here as the ceremony cannot take place without her. He tells Abir that it was his mistake that he didn’t stop Meenakshi from leaving. Mishti stops Mehul and tells everyone that since Meenakshi is not happy with this relationship they shouldn’t force her to be a part of the ceremony.  Rajshri gets a call from Meenkashi and she tells her to proceed with the ceremony as she won’t be able to be a part of it. 

Mehul tries to insist that it’s important for Meenakshi to be here. But Mishti whispers to him and threatens him that the ceremony should take place right now no matter what. Mehul quickly changes his stance and asks everyone to proceed with the rituals as the auspicious hour is soon going to be over. Meanwhile, Kaushal informs Meenakshi that he has called the police and they’re speaking with Rajgarh police as  complaints against Mehul have been lodged there. Meenkashi feels proud of Kaushal. The lawyer and Laxman find the papers that Mehul had signed stating that he would no longer have any legal authority over Abir. Abir asks Parul to bless him as Meenakshi is not here and she also is no less than a mother to him. Later as Abir hugs Mehul, Mishti feels absurd as Mehul doesn’t remotely have any remorse for what he has done. Soon, Abir and Mishti sit down for the engagement ceremony to begin. 

The lawyer makes sure that Abir’s application to change his name doesn’t process. Kaushal and Laxman make other arrangements. Kaushal asks Meenkashi if she’s sure that Mehul would come here. Meenakshi tells him that she knows Mehul’s first instinct would be to run away from the Maheshwari house but she has joined hands with Mishti to expose his truth so he will definitely come and fall in their trap. Meanwhile, Abir puts the engagement ring on Mishti’s finger. Before Mishti puts a ring on his finger, she tells him how he has taught her to love. She appreciates him for how he loves everyone unconditionally. As Mishti expresses her feelings for Abir, she notices that Mehul has slyly left. Mishti gets startled as Rajshri breaks her line of thought. The ring in her hand falls and Kunal picks it up to give it to her. She puts the ring on Abir’s finger and everyone congratulates them. Mishti thinks that she needs to inform Meenakshi that Mehul has managed to leave from here immediately. Mehul reaches the Rajvansh Sadan and Meenakshi realises that he’s here. He tells Meenkashi to hand over the property papers to him immediately but she refuses. She tells him that Abir is still leaving the house. Mehul tells her that he doesn’t care about Abir or anybody in this family, his only concern is the property papers. He threatens to ruin her life as well as of Kunal. Meenakshi gets agitated as Mehul pulls Kunal into their conversation. Meanwhile, Abir talks to Mishti privately and tells her how he was so worried about her as he thought she was in some trouble. Mishti contemplates about telling Mehul’s truth to Abir. As she decides to tell him, Parul arrives there with a bowl of kheer for them. Mishti tells her to have some too as she knows she loves kheer. Parul gets surprised as to how Mishti knows that she loves kheer. Meanwhile, Meenakshi shows Mehul his pictures when he kidnapped Mishti and asks him if the reason for his restless is this. Mehul gets shocked and angry as he sees the pictures.
