Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke December 9, 2019 Written Update: Meenakshi almost sees Abir and Mishti together

In today’s episode, Abir, Kunal, Nishant and Mishti arrives at the offsite. Kunal tells Nishant that all he tasted was mud throughout the way because he said that they couldn’t bring their own cars. Nishant and Mishti laugh as Mishti says that Nishant made Kunal taste mud already. Later, Kunal reads a letter welcoming them to the offsite and notices the word hashtag on it. Meanwhile, Meenakshi scolds Kaushal for trying to repair her laptop with a hair dryer. Yashpal sees her tensed and she expresses how she has to take up all the responsibilities of the house. She asks him where Abir and Kunal are. Yashpal tells her that he sent them for the offsite meeting. He makes Meenakshi realise that Abir had not been giving time to himself and even though he was pretending to be happy, he was definitely missing Mishti. He tells her that it is Mishti’s birthday tomorrow and the offsite meeting would take Abir’s mind off of Mishti. Meanwhile, Abir sees Mishti and Nishant discussing something and begins to feel jealous. 

Meenakshi feels like Mishti’s family would not leave Mishti alone on her birthday. She fears that Mishti would come back to Rajkot. Rajshri informs Vishambhar that Mishti and Nishant have gone to an offsite meeting. Vishambhar cribs about how he came early from his reunion just to spend time with Mishti. Meenakshi had sent Laxman as a courier boy to check what is happening at the Maheshwari Sadan. He overhears Vishambhar saying that Mishti hasn’t been home for two months and he can’t wait any longer to be with her. Rajshri helplessly says that there is nothing they can do about it since Mishti is not here. Laxman messages Meenakshi that it doesn’t seem like Mishti would return home any time soon. Meenakshi reads it and feels relieved but still wishes that she could be there with Abir if he has a breakdown. Later, everyone receives a goody bag with a hashtag on it. Kunal and Abir sit together and as they discuss something they don’t realise that they both are talking about different things. Kunal says that it’s pretty obvious to him and Abir agrees with him and says that he saw Nishant and Mishti flirting too. Kunal exclaims and asks Abir what is he saying. Kunal tells Abir that he knew Mishti was affection him. Abir diverts the  conversation and asks Kunal what he was talking about. Kunal makes Abir realise that the event decorations and the hashtags all make him believe that Kuhu is behind arranging all of this. Abir agrees as he notices everything. 

Later, as Nishant and Mishti dance Abir watches them and feels jealous. Suddenly, Kuhu arrives there and surprises everyone. She asks everyone to go to their rooms and freshen up for the bonfire in the evening. Later, Kunal comes to Kuhu’s room and begins to argue with her but Nishant interrupts them. Kuhu gets worried that Kunal might say something rude to Nishant. Nishant tells them that he’s planning a surprise for Mishti’s birthday. Kunal asks him to keep things professional as they’ve come for a meeting here. Nishant asks him o have fun as this isn’t a serious work environment. He leaves them together to spend some time. Kunal thinks about forewarning Abir that Nishant is planning a surprise for Mishti’s birthday. Meanwhile, Mishti enters Abir’s room as the 6 number sign over his room turns upside down and becomes 9. She gets worried about Abir not reacting to anything. Later she hears someone in the bathroom and thinks it’s a thief. She hides behind the curtain to attack the thief. Meenakshi video calls Abir and he comes to take his phone. Mishti thinks he’s stealing something from her bag and attacks him. Abir accidentally picks up the call as Mishti pushes him on the bed. Abir lands on the bed with Mishti on top of him. Meenakshi sees a girl’s earring but doesn’t see Mishti. Abir realises that the video call is on and shuts Mishti’s mouth before she speaks. He cuts the call and then ask her what is she doing in his room. They both argue about the room then Abir offers Mishti his hand to get her up from the bed. Mishti refuses it and says that she can support herself after a fall. Abir sarcastically says that she would’ve taken the hand if it were Nishant’s. But later he clarifies that he’s not jealous as Mishti and her life doesn’t matter to him anymore. Mishti feels hurt but tells him that he doesn’t matter to her anymore too. Meenakshi tries to call Abir again but the call doesn’t get through. Later, Nishant talks about Mishti’s birthday before Kunal could tell Abir about it. Abir acts like he didn’t know that it was Mishti’s birthday and she overhears it and feels upset.
