Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke July 31, 2019 Written Update: Meenakshi intimidates Mishti
In Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke, Meenakshi confronts Mishti about Abir and blackmails her while Kunal stops Abir from meeting Mishti.
The episode starts with Mishti making all preparations to finally confess her love to Abir face to face. She decorates a bus with Abir’s favourite balloons to symbolise the time when she fell in love with Abir. She pours her heart out sitting on the top of the bus only to realise that Meenakshi was the one who was listening to everything instead of Abir. Meanwhile, Abir realises that Mishti might be waiting for him outside and he decides to go meet her. Kunal sees Abir walking out and he tries to stop him from meeting Mishti as Meenakshi had instructed him to do so. He makes an excuse about a fight between him and Kuhu and asks Abir to help him out.
Meenakshi gets furious about the relationship that Mishti and Abir were hiding from her. Mishti apologises for the way Meenakshi found out about them and tells her that she really loves Abir. Meenakshi refuses to let Mishti develop a relationship with Abir since she had already rejected Kunal for marriage. She says that because of Mishti her family will fall apart because of conflicts between the brothers. Meanwhile, Abir tries to call Mishti to let her know he will be a little late but Meenakshi doesn’t let Mishti pick up the call. She asks Mishti to stay away from Abir and also insults Mishti on being an adopted child. She threatens Mishti to cancel Kunal and Kuhu’s marriage if she doesn’t stay away from Abir.
Kunal engages Abir in solving his problems with Kuhu and even Kuhu joins Kunal in stopping Abir from going outside. But Kunal doesn’t tell her why they had to stop Abir. Eventually, all the members of the Rajvansh and Maheshwari family decide to play Antakshari and insist Abir to spend time with them. Abir sends messages to Mishti that he will be there after some time as he is caught up with the family here. Mishti is still trying to convince Meenakshi to let her be with Abir but Meenakshi is adamant to not let their relationship develop. She believes that if Abir develops feelings for Mishti, it will hurt Kunal a lot and Abir would not listen to anybody after that. She also convinces Mishti that Abir didn’t come to meet her because he cares about his family more than he cares about her. She gets a video call from Nidhi and shows it to Mishti to prove to her that Abir is enjoying with his family, which means he doesn't care about Mishti. Mishti is in tears and she tries to leave to be with her family but Meenakshi stops her and once again reminds her that she would definitely ask Kunal to not marry Kuhu if Mishti doesn’t back off.
