Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is constantly winning hearts of the public, starring real life couple Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan as lead actors.
At the day of the wedding, as Naira goes missing, everybody is searching for her. Kartik locates Naira, and gathers all his strength to face her as the fear of forgetting him and the wedding, continuously haunts him. Naira in turn, apologizes which at least relieves family members, including Kartik. She informs everyone that she forgot everything for once but was able to recall with the help of the nurse. On the other hand, doctor’s colleague informs him about the strike, which makes the doctor stressful. The whole family decides to put an “akhandjyot” and pray to God for Kaira’s well-being.
Kartik surprises Naira with the beautiful arrangements done for marriage. Naira feels dizzy, but hides her health condition from the family. Meanwhile, Kartik and Naira pull each other’s leg. The doctors on the other hand is trying to convince the staff for not going on strike as many patients have their life at stake. However, he fails to do so. Akhilesh also receives a phone call saying Dr. Shah may take time, which worries Manish and Akhilesh promises to manage everything. Further, as the duo's marriage awaits, Naira receives a grand welcome from the Sinhghania’s through a dance performance.
Kartik and Naira exchange rings. Kartik, for a second, dreams of him and Naira in a romantic set-up. Stepping into reality, the further rituals take place.. During the celebration, Naira feels weak and unsteady, and the nurse asks them to stop.
When the whole City Hospital staff watches the news clippings of strike, the doctor asks them to look after the security of the hospital.
Next, the doctor conducts a check-up and tells the families that Naira is absolutely fine and the show must go on. The wedding then resumes with huge pomp and show.
