Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update, January 8, 2020: Naira on a mission to expose Vedika
Naira starts collecting evidences against Vedika to expose her while Kartik berates Vedika for scolding Kairav. Later, Naira learns a shocking news from Vedika about her & Kartik's honeymoon plan.
In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Naira (Shivangi Joshi) searches for Umesh on social media to find clue so that she can expose Vedika (Pankhuri Awasthy). Vedika finds something fishy about Naira coming up at home while posing as Santa. Kairav tells his family members how well Christmas has been celebrated. Naira calls Dadi to speak about Umesh’s details but Dadi informs her about Pallavi’s arrival at home.
Naira tells Suhasini to keep Pallavi there so that she can go to the hospital and check. However, Pallavi had already left by that time. Naira looks for proof in the hospital and finds Umesh meeting Pallavi there. She tries to listen their conversation in which Pallavi scolds Umesh for such a desperate move. Umesh then tells her that it is, in fact, Vedika who called him there and that he had sold his kidney for money. Umesh admits saving Naira’s life and Pallavi tells him that she will give him the money. Umesh is not satisfied with her answer and calls her a liar.
Naira finds out about Vedika and Pallavi’s plan and decides to inform Dadi. She thinks that it is not the right time to tell Kartik anything as it will alert Vedika. On the other hand, Kartik and Kairav plan to go out. They continuously talk about Naira which irks Vedika. She scolds Kairav which makes Kartik loses his temper. He tells her to not misbehave with Kairav and Naira as he won’t tolerate anybody hurting them. He tells her that he is only fulfilling her wish but that doesn’t mean that she can hurt his close ones. Kartik wants to meet Naira but is not able to do so as Vedika is there with him.
Naira wants to expose Vedika soon and waits to get evidence against her. Vedika gets upset seeing Kartik and Naira together and makes a shocking announcement thereafter about a honeymoon plan. Naira finds Kartik feeling awkward and decides to take him out from the situation soon. She tells the truth to Dadi and Naksh post which they plan to expose Vedika.
