Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Written Update 10th October 2017 Episode No. 2493: Naksh and Kirti's Varmala ceremony begins
The episode starts with Naira and Naksh returning to the mandap. Everyone gets worried to see them. Naira tells them that they must proceed with the Varmala ceremony. Naksh vows to take good care of Keerti all his life. Surekha asks Naira what was the matter. She tells her that she had to tell him something about Naitik. Karthik tells her that he has already told everyone that Naitik will not be able to attend the wedding. Kaveri and Rajeshwari tell Naksh that they are equally upset but they must not let it hamper the celebrations as both Akshara and Naitik wanted Naksh’s wedding to be a fun-filled affair.Karthik and Naira drag both the families to the dance floor and celebrate along with them.
Naitik asks Naira if she still doesn’t trust him. She doesn’t say a word. Both the families proceed to the stage for the varmala ceremony. Just before Kirti could make him wear the garland, Naira stops Naksh. Everyone gets scared. She looks at him and signals that she trusts him. He ducks his head and happily wears the garland. Akhilesh tells him that they can wait for some time if he wants to enjoy his bachelorhood for a few more minutes. Naksh instantly makes Kirti wear the garland. Naira gets happy to see Naksh’s eagerness. Karthik gets a little emotional after the ceremony. He thanks Naira for coming into his life and changing it. Aryan feels bad for not getting his due credit for rescuing Naksh. He steals someone sherwani and wears it.
Yash apologizes to Naksh for revealing his secret to Naira. Naksh tells him that he is happy for whatever happened as otherwise, he would have never been able to admit that he loves Kirti. He says he could have never got a better girl than Kirti. Rageshwari notices tension on Naira’s face and assures her that Naksh and Keerti will always stay happy in their life. Naksh tells Kirti that she is looking beautiful. She gets happy to receive a compliment from him. Aryan reveals to Karthik that he helped Naksh reach the wedding venue. Karthik refuses to believe his story and asks him to focus on his work. He asks him to remove sherwani and wear his uniform. Naira gets happy to see Naksh and Kirti sharing some happy moments in private. Karthik and Naira relive their varmalamoment by exchanging garlands. Yash and Ananya ask them to choose which side are they on as they need to form teams for the juta churai ceremony. Aryan overhears their discussion and decides to join one of the teams.
