In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai, today, Kartik names Kirti’s child Krish which shocks Naira.
In today’s episode, an attendant from New City hospital comes and tells Naira that he has come to give her child vaccination. Naira goes to get the child and the files of the child which she is unable to find. She finding her bag lying down makes her a little curious as she had not left it there. Kartik invites the attendant to sit while Naira gets the child for the vaccination. Naira couldn’t find the file in her bag. She requests the man to give the baby the injection as she is unable to find the hospital files and that she can always comes to the hospital once she gets the file and et it updated. The man dismisses her request and tells her the importance of keeping the file properly as they are not allowed to give injections without matching it with the information mentioned in the file. He tells Naira that she can come to the hospital for it the next day with the file and get the vaccinations done. Naira apologises to Kartik about the whole thing and tells her that she shall be more careful the next time.
Panditji is seen calling out for Naira and Kartik along with the baby for the puja when Naira decides to include Kirti too in the pooja as she should be present in the rituals as per Naira. She tells Naksh to connect the speaker in Kirti’s room as she wanted her to hear everything which is happening, secretly wishing Kirti’s health to get better. Akhilesh and Manish second Naira’s idea and wishes everything add to make Kirti get cured soon. Naksh does as told and talks with Kirti, telling her to enjoy the rituals and to et well soon. The Pooja starts and the panditji tells everyone to give their blessings to the baby and the naming ceremony starts. Everyone requests Naira to choose the name they had suggested to which she tells Kartik to write the name while she attended the baby. Kartik writes Krish on the plate and hearing this Kirti moves her hand in response.
Naira gets stunned as she and Kartik had planned on some other name together instead of Krish. Naira will be seen asking the reason why Kartik chose Krish and not the name they had chosen together.
