Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai On11th October, 2017 Episode No.2494 Despite Akhilesh and Surekha's refusal, Dadi insists them to do Kirti's Kanyadaan. How will Manish and Suvarna feel about it?
The episode starts with Naksh and Kirti hesitating to sit on the mandap because of the fear of getting their shoes stolen. Everyone makes fun of them and asks them not to waste any more time. Luv and Kush suggest them to throw their shoes randomly in the air. Deviyani asks Luv-Kush, Ananya, Yash, Karthik and Naira to close their eyes. Naksh and Kirti throw their shoes in the air. Ananya-Yash, Luv-Kush get successful in finding both the pairs. They challenge Karthik and Naira to steal the shoes from them. They take up the challenge after much deliberation.
Manish gets emotional to see Kirti in bride's avatar. Aryan starts looking for the shoes. Yash asks him what is he doing. Suhasini asks the priest to finish the ceremony as soon as possible. Yash tells Naira that Aryan knows that they were looking for Naksh. He tells her that it was Aryan who brought Naksh out of the laundry room. Yash tells her that Karthik should not come to know about the truth. Naksh vows to keep Kirti happy all her life. Karthik comes and tells Naira that she didn't expect this from her. She gets scared. He asks her if she was cheating. She gets relieved. Ananya asks them to focus on finding the shoes. Naira hugs Karthik and asks him not to ever get angry with her. He assures her that he loves her a lot and can never stay angry with her for a long time.
Suhasini takes Surekha and Akhilesh aside and asks them to perform Kirti's kanyadaan. They get shocked and refuse to perform the ceremony and say it's Manish and Suvarna's right to do Keerti's kanyadaan. Suhasini tells them that Kirti's birth chart doesn't allow Suvarna to perform the ritual. Akhilesh says Manish will get really hurt if he comes to know about it. Suhasini says that Manish will have to choose between Suvarna and Kirti. Aryan gets excited to find both the shoes. Priest calls Naira to do the gathbandhan. She thanks her elders for giving her this opportunity. Priest calls Kirti's parents for Kanyadaan.
Suhasini informs them that Surekha and Akhilesh will perform it. Manish and Suvarna get upset. Karthik calls all of them aside. He asks Suhasini why did she ask Surekha and Akhilesh to perform Kirti's kanyadaan. Suhasini tells them that it was because of Suvarna's birth chart that Kirti's first marriage got broken. Karthik tells her that he doesn't believe in all this, who will wish for children’s happiness than parents, if children have sorrow in fate, they have to bear it, but we can’t snatch anyone’s right. Dadi says if anyone’s momentary happiness becomes lifelong sorrow for other, its better not to give such happiness.
