Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai October 25, 2019 Written Update: Kairav hates Kartik
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Goenkas receive a shocking letter from Vedika. While Kairav tells Vansh about his hatred for Kartik, the latter plans his birthday surprise.
In the last episode, Kartik is bothered by Kairav's odd behaviour with him. While the latter puts himself in danger to avoid going back to Goa, Vedika takes a surprising decision. Surekha gets a note by Vedika and they all learn that Vedika had left for America to meet her aunt. While Surekha and Suhasini was ridiculed at the idea of her leaving the country uninformed, Manish defends her. The Goenkas feel that Vedika’s departure was for the best, as on Kartik and Kairav’s birthday, she would have felt left out.
Here, Naksh notes that Kairav was still upset. Naksh and Naira decided to make two birthday cakes. While discussing about the party, Naira tells Naksh that she wanted to look for a job for herself. Naksh motivated Naira and tells her that she should always be independent. Devyani and Kaveri readily took over Kairav’s responsibility and assured Naira that things would be okay. Naksh asks whether or not she wanted to join the jewellery business, but considering past incidents, Naira wanted to stay away from that field completely.
Naira suggested she does something related to dance or yoga and since Kartik used to look after Akshara Dance Academy, she would do something completely on her own and not intrude in it. Meanwhile, Naksh calls Vansh and shared his feelings about Kartik with him. Kairav tells Vansh how annoyed he was with Kartik, as he had spoken to him very rudely while he was trying to stay in Udaipur and not go back to Goa. He asks Vansh to help him plan something so that he could stay in Udaipur. While conversing, Kairav tells Vansh about not wanting to celebrate his birthday with Kartik but wanted just Naira and Vansh to be there.
Kartik calls Naira and she breaks the news to him that she wanted to start working again. They both become teary eyed thinking about the past while Kartik decided to apologize for his behaviour once again. He was happy that Naira had decided to become independent once again and was in full support of her working.
