Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai js constantly winning hearts of the public, starring real life couple Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan as lead actors.
Lights shut down while everyone is playing Dandiya. Naira looks out for the fault and finds someone running. As Naira is about to fix the plug, Akhilesh, with all other family members arrives. Naira stammers and starts justifying herself. She convinces them that it was not done by her. But Surekha interrupts, saying that nobody else can enter the house, except guests and family. Akhilesh then asks her to take rest. Akhilesh is upset about the party being spoiled. Kartik asks him to be calm as differences have not yet occurred in heart.
Suhasini ji tells Kartik to let go and is angry on Akhilesh. Naira requests Dadi to stay and attend the function hosted by Chcahu for the very first time. Kaira then cover up for Akhilesh addressing the guests. With the loud cheer they restart Dandiya. The unidentified person, on the other hand, plans to drift Goenka’s apart. Further, at night, Naira thinks about whatever happened in the evening. Kartik comforts her and she maturely handles the situation. She also asks Kartik to not to take Chachu seriously. She cross-checks with Kartik if even he thought she was hallucinating about someone being there. They both discuss about the person who seemed to be jealous and is trying to create misunderstandings between their families.
Next, we see glimpses of the stranger, a confirmation on the how he will create a tiff in Goenkas, referring to Ramayana, him being the Raavan. In the morning, Kartik and Naira spend time with Luv-Khush while making rangoli. They showcase a house with all family members united, which is seen by all family members.
Naira asks for Shagun from Akhilesh and seeks blessings. He gives her a big amount but Naira refuses to accept it, but he insists as he has his own share and is capable of giving this amount. He also demarcates the line within the family in the Rangoli, but Manish stops him. Akhilesh angrily leaves, which breaks-down the family.
Besides this, Keerti is worried about weight-gain and its impact on Naksh. Alongside, Akhilesh receives a Dussehra gift from his so called brother which is a luxury car. Kaira are cynical and doubtful of this.
Manish, Suvarna, and Suhasini ji have a discussion on how money, power, and position can control the person and effect his personal relations. Kartik and Naira ask Dadi if Akhilesh has another brother or someone he calls 'Bhai'. This makes Manish upset and he states that “I am his only brother.” They then tell Suvarna about someone gifting Akhilesh car.
