Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is constantly winning hearts of the public, starring real life couple Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan as lead actors.
Akhilesh announces to leave the house. As he is about to touch Suhasini ji’s feet, she steps back. He tells her to call him up or meet him in case she misses him. She solicits Akhilesh for not leaving, steadily breaking-down. He also seeks good-bye from Manish, and makes a mention of Goenka vs Goenka! Manish asks him earnestly to stay back. Akhilesh replies that he does not want any alms, when Manish told him to take whatever he needs. Suvarna interrupts pleading him not to let the separation happen. She had always considered him as the binding agent of the family.
Manish repeatedly asks him to transfer everything on his name, because for him, distance might not grow hearts fonder. Kartik, on the other hand, stops him. Meanwhile, Naksh is worried about Naira and wants to take her back home as this family atmosphere may have an impact on her health. Keerti is in tears as her paternal family falling apart scares her. Naksh then apologises to her.
Next, Kartik cuts the conversation claiming his property share as well. This shocks everybody as he continues saying that share should be equally divided amongst all the family members. Manish angrily shouts on him. According to Kartik, if Chachu is adamant then this problem should be eradicated permanently, as other family members in future may not have an option of leaving the house. Therefore, once and for all, the partition should be proceeded with equality and forever. Manish loses the grip on the situation and Akhilesh agrees with Kartik and is proud of him. He also asks him to put in his suggestion and any proposal if he has one.
Naira intervenes asking Akhilesh to stay back until the partition is done completely. Akhilesh exclaims that he has no choice left, but Kartik suggests if the hearts have drifted apart then drawing a line in the house won’t make any difference. So the division is determinate.
Kaira apologises to God and demarcates the house with Durga Maa’s idol, exclaiming left side of the sculpture belonging to Akhilesh and the other belonging to them. Kartik hopes that before Visarjan, everything falls in place.
Further, at night Kartik, asks Naira if she was feeling fine? Naira in a healthy state makes him realise of their victory and hope. They had at least stopped Chachu from leaving. Kartik is grateful for Naira’s support which she thinks was her responsibility. She wants them to win this fight. Kaira have their meal, caring for each other.
Besides, Akhilesh informs everything to someone and Manish, on the other hand, rebukes Kartik for his behaviour. Suvarna tries to look at the positive side of the situation. But Manish is hurt as his expectations have been broken. Kaira enters consoling Manish and telling them about their plan of not letting Akhilesh step out of the house. They just want Chachu to taste his own medicine and demand everybody’s trust. For them, their family is their real wealth. Kartik has taken all the responsibilities which an ideal son should take.
