Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai October 17, 2018 Written Update: Kaira's life is back on track
Naira and Kartik are about to witness a new beginning in their lives with a lot that is about to happen up ahead.
Naira feels lucky and she also promises the entire family that mistakes done in the past would not be repeated. She also assures that she would always keep everybody united. Suhasini ji still feels anxious and hopes everything goes well. Kartik shows the house around to Naira while they both click photographs. On the other hand, Akhilesh asks Surekha to pack her bags but she resists. She does not want to hurt anyone but Akhilesh puts it off by questioning how will it even bother anybody's happiness. This conversation is overheard by Manish and Suvarna.
Naira is therefore dewy-eyed and is mesmerized as she enters the room which is beautifully decorated. Naira and Kartik give their word to Kartik’s first mother that now they’ll never fight or get apart. Kartik had placed all the cue-cards and pictures of the family in the room. Just when they both were about to hug, Luv-Kush arrive. They both then share a romantic moment. Manish and Suvarna then talk to Akhilesh and Surekha respectively. But Akhilesh pays no regard and Surekha on the other side, turns the topic.
While Kartik shares his feeling towards his Chachu with Naira and plans to give him a gift. He plans to give him the US Project which he was longing to handle. In the meantime, Kartik makes Naira have her medicines and she reminds Kartik of the side-effects which may hamper her memory. Kartik handles this with a very light mood.
Next, a havan takes place and all the members pray for the well-being of their family. Akhilesh on the other hand, seeks strength, in order to ask for his rights. While the havan goes on, Naira opens up her eyes as she sees one of the heavily decorated shed, falling. As soon as it is about to fall, Kaira hold it and stop it from falling. They both then console Dadi.
