Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai November 15, 2019 Written Update: Kairav celebrates with Karthik
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kairav apologises to Karthik and celebrates Diwali with him. He also tries to bring Naira and Karthik close with his special deal.
In today’s episode, Kairav tells Karthik that he’s the best father in the world. He brings in a surprise for Karthik. As he opens the box, Karthik and everyone sees a replica of the cake that Kairav had ruined earlier. Kairav apologises to Karthik for his behaviour and asks him and Naira to join him in cutting the cake together. Naira asks the orchestra to play the drums and makes everyone dance and celebrate. While dancing, Karthik’s phone falls out of his pocket. Vedika calls Karthik as she wants to desperately convey something to him but he doesn’t pay attention as he doesn’t realise his phone has fallen. Later, they all go for the veneration. Kairav insists Naira to join him and Karthik to perform the Aarti but she denies. She worries what would happen once Vedika comes back home.
Later, Kairav tells everyone that he has some serious announcement. He asks Naira and Karthik to sit in front of god and make a deal. He reads out the deal from a piece of paper as he had planned what the deal would be about. He asks them to promise God to love him and to love each other forever. He asks them to promise that they would not get into big fights and even if they get into small ones they would quickly make up by apologising. Karthik and Naira agree to love him forever but they feel hesitant to promise to love each other. Kairav takes their thumbs and dips it in the vermillion. He puts their thumbprints on the paper that he had made for the deal and tells them that they will now have to inevitably follow whatever he has written in it.
Later, everyone dances and celebrates Diwali. Vedika calls on the landline but when someone hands the phone to Karthik he asks them to tell the person calling to call tomorrow as he is spending time with his son today. Vedika hears this and realises that Naira and Kairav are still at the house. Later, they burn crackers and celebrate. Kairav goes to the pond where everyone had lit their lamps. He goes and places Karthik and Naira’s lamp together. Naira sees it and feels emotional. She brings in another lamp together to symbolise Vedika entering her and Karthik’s life. She goes to take some water and extinguish her own lamp. Karthik sees her and stops her. He holds her hand and saves the lamp. Soon, Karthik sees that Vedika is calling him. Naira sees her call and feels upset. She pushes her lamp and it drifts away from Karthik’s to symbolise how she has also become distant from Karthik. Karthik picks up the call and gets surprised by what Vedika said. He tells Naira that Vedika is asking him to meet her at a hotel in Udaipur. Naira gets perplexed because she thought Vedika was in USA. She tells Karthik that Vedika might’ve seen her and Kairav here and might’ve gotten upset with them. Karthik tells her that she needn’t worry about what Vedika thinks because for them the most important is Kairav. Later, Kairav insists Naira to accompany him to sleep in Karthik’s room. Karthik arrives there and convinces him to sleep in his own room as Naira snores a lot. Later, Karthik assures Naira that he is going to meet Vedika tomorrow morning but she still gets worried.
