Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai March 22, 2019 Written Update: Kartik rejects Naira
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how the families are worried about Kartik while he secretly calls off his marriage with Naira. Later, Naksh apologises to Kartik after learning what happened.
In previous episode, we see how Kartik feels guilty while Manish comforts him. Later, Kirti visits the Goenkas while Kartik's absence is conspicuous. Suhasini hands over the turmeric paste for the haldi ceremony and tells Kirti to go home and do the haldi ceremony. Inquisitive Naira asks Kirti whether or not she speak to Kartik, while Suhasini, Manish and the rest reach Singhania house to look for Kartik.
Naksh gets annoyed learning about Kartik’s uncalled absence. While Naksh was busy in demeaning Kartik, Naira comes in the hall and pulls the decoration down in rage. Both the families wonder what was the reason for Naira’s stress and learned that Kartik had pulled his steps back from the marriage. Stressed Naira informs everyone about Kartik coming in her room and breaking the news of cancelling their marriage.
Seeing Kartik call off their marriage, Naksh gets infuriated and leaves to confront Kartik about his decision. Kirti stops Naksh and tells him that it was her fault and explains him that because of her insecurities, she had spoiled both their lives. Here, Kartik feels guilty about hurting Naira while Naira performs tandav in her room to get her stress out. Kartik comes home and apologises to the family members for his decision, but Naksh stops him and consoles him. Naksh apologised for his unreasonable behaviour towards Kartik and informs him about knowing the truth behind his decision to not marry Naira. Naksh asks for a chance to rectify his mistakes and hugs Kartik with affection. Here, Rishabh consoles Naira and suggests she blurts out her sufferings in front of him. Naira makes an announcement in front of Rishabh that everything was over between her and Kartik and that her decision was irrevocable.
