Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai June 21, 2019 Written Update: Kairav’s innocent plea
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how Kairav is teased by his classmate. Later, Naira plans a surprise for him while the latter pleads with Kartik to participate in a special event on Father's Day.
In the last episode, we see how Kairav grows desperate to meet Kartik while the latter develops a mental attachment with him. Later, Naira tries to dissuade him from talking to Kartik over the phone. Manish and the Goenkas plan for the donations and charity while Kartik accidentally pronounces problem as pobble, just like Kairav did and laughs off at his innocent mistake. Suhasini takes a sigh of relief to finally see Kartik happy while Vedika gets amused seeing Kartik giggle. Later, while taking to his colleagues, Kartik instructs them to send the consignment to Goa while it was supposed to go to Patiala. Vedika hears Kartik mention Goa and gets happy to find him excited for their Goa’s trip, however, Kartik was lost in Kairav’s thoughts.
Here, Kairav hears the ringtone of a mobile phone outside his house and finds D’souza’s phone in the garden area. He gets excited and runs towards Naira as he wanted to inform her about his father’s call but he finds her speak to Lisa and tell her to keep Kairav away from D’souza and to tell him to not lend his phone to him any further. He runs from there and hides the phone, so that he could talk to him. Later, on the occasion of father’s day, Kairav’s classmate teases him as they think Kairav did not have a father who would come to play the football match which the school had organized. He comes home and expresses his disappointment in front of Naira. Seeing Kairav upset, Naira decided to practise playing football as she wanted to win the match for Kairav’s sake. In the meantime, Kairav dials Kartik’s number, who was impatient as Kairav hasn’t picked his calls earlier. Kartik recognizes the pain in Kairav’s voice and asks him why he was sad. Kairav tells Kartik that he wanted him in Goa on the occasion of Father’s day as he had promised his friends that he would come for the match. Kartik apologetically tells Kairav that he wouldn’t be able to make it to the match and Kairav hangs up the call getting angry on Kartik.
Kairav remembered that Kartik had once told him that he lived in Udaipur and out of innocence, he decides to bring Kartik to the match himself and starts to pack his bag to leave for Udaipur. Kartik was feeling bad as he wasn’t being able to attend Kairav’s school’s function when Suwarna comes and finds Kartik lost in the kid’s thoughts. Kartik tells Suwarna about Kairav’s innocent plea and she tells him that there was no harm in catering to a child’s needs. The next morning, Kairav wishes Kartik happy father’s day and gets up from his bed. Here, Kartik felt that the kid from Goa had wished him on father’s day and feels as if he literally heard him wish. Later, the Goenkas celebrate father’s day while Naira was busy preparing for the football match.
