Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai June 20, 2019 Written Update: Kairav’s desperate efforts
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how Kairav grows desperate to meet Kartik while the latter develops a mental attachment with him. Later, Naira tries to dissuade him from talking to Kartik over the phone.
In the last episode, we see how Naira is shocked when Kairav tells her that he was speaking to his father. Later, she bursts into tears on recalling some heart-breaking incidents from the past. Naira remembered how without any faults of hers, she and her child had to suffer just because she found Kartik not willing to listen to her. She thinks that if Kartik wouldn’t have trusted her innocence, he would have doubted on Kairav’s birth and that she would not be able to take Kartik doubt on her child. She also tells an imaginative Kartik that she would do anything in her abilities to keep Kartik away from Kairav. Naira had left by then, when Kartik tells Mihir that he had forgiven Naira and that he was wrong to have doubted on her in the first place.
Here, Vansh comes to Kartik and pretends to be upset with him as he was always busy on his phone and did not have time for him. While snatching his phone from him, Vansh accidentally drops Kartik’s phone while he was getting a call. Kartik tells Vansh to go eat something and then they would play. Suwarna comes to Kartik’s room and hears their conversation. She asks Kartik why was he always looking at his phone in hope of receiving some kind of news. Kartik confides in Suwarna and tells her about a mysterious bond that he felt with Kairav. He asks Suwarna whether or not he was wrong to talk to an unknown child but she assured Kartik that till the time no one was hurt, it was okay to speak to the kid.
In the meantime, Naira tried to explain Kairav that the person he was talking to wasn’t his father but a stranger. Kairav insisted that Naira believe on him but seeing her adamant, Kairav gets upset and leaves. Later, the old man, D’souza comes to Naira complaining about her husband’s repetitive calls for Kairav and tells her to inform her husband not to call him (D’souza) repeatedly. Just when Naira asked his number from D’souza, the phone rings and the man tells Naira that it must be his call, as nobody else would call him. Since the display of the phone was damaged, Naira couldn’t see the number, but just when she was about to pick the call, Kairav pushes Naira and tells her not to scold his father as he would not talk to him otherwise. Naira pressurizes Kairav to not call on the number again but Kairav leaves being angry on Naira. Naira comes to Kairav and promises him that soon that day would come when his father would return from his secret mission and meet them.
