Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai July 23, 2019 Written Update: Naira comes to Udaipur
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how Naira reaches Udaipur while Kartik and Vedika perform a puja before their engagement. Later, Suhasini demands that Kartik should get rid of Naira's memories.
In the last episode, we see how a shattered Naira takes Kairav to the hospital while Kartik saves Vedika from an accident. Later, the Goenkas announce Kartik's engagement. The jeweller comes to the Goenka house and Suhasini tells Kartik and Vedika to select the rings for themselves. The jeweller shows his best design and Vansh highlights that the ring matched that of Naira’s. Samarth scolds Vansh for interfering while Kartik feels sad and tells Vedika to choose the design herself, as he had no preference. Later, Suwarna comes to Suhasini’s sake, where she tells Suwarna that she did not know that people with bad intentions were residing in their house. Suwarna tells Suhasini to ignore what Gayu said and emphasizes on the fact that Kartik wasn’t happy marrying Vedika.
Suhasini tells Suwarna that she would make sure that nobody comes in between Kartik and Vedika and that everyone should be happy, as Kartik was finally moving on in life. The next day, the priest invokes the name of Lord Ganesha and Kartik along with Vedika perform the veneration before their engagement ceremony. After the veneration gets over, Suhasini finds an opportunity and aims at Gayu, telling her that she should not speak negative words against the marriage. Suhasini tells Suwarna to scan Kartik’s room and make space for Vedika in the room. Suwarna feels sorry and tells Suhasini that Kartik wouldn’t be able to separate himself from Naira’s belongings. The Goenkas wonder how they would be able to break the news to Kartik. Manish gathered courage and suggests Kartik that they get his room renovated. Kartik feels anxious and leaves from there by making an excuse.
Here, Naira request the doctor to do the tests for her, in order to know the medical reports, however, the doctor insists that she gets her old file. Lisa tells Naira that she should argue with the doctor, as it might be important for Kairav. Not having any choice, Naira comes to Udaipur with Lisa and Kairav to collect her reports. Kairav feels hungry while they were on their way and Naira gets down to buy him a bottle of water. She hides her face with a scarf, so that nobody could recognize her. While Naira was away, Kairav asks Lisa why were they not staying with Kartik, as he was staying in Udaipur. Lisa makes an excuse and convinces Kairav. Meanwhile, Naira comes to the hospital to seek her medical reports and as soon as she tells her name at the reception, the doctor who operated her co-incidentally hears her and comes to her. The receptionist tells her that there were two Naira Goenkas listed on the computer and the doctor excuses herself, as she thought she had made a mistake. The receptionist tells Naira that she has to get a form signed from the doctor, after which he would be able to give her the copy of her reports.
