Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai July 22, 2019 Written Update: Naira is devastated
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how a shattered Naira takes Kairav to the hospital while Kartik saves Vedika from an accident. Later, the Goenkas announce Kartik's engagement.
In the last episode, we see how Kairav celebrates his first Sawaan Milan with Naira. Elsewhere, Kartik has an emotional recollection of his past when he spots Vedika dancing. Kartik was still immersed in Naira’s thoughts, when he gets horrified to see Vedika’s prop break. Kartik rushes to save her and manages to pick her and save her from an accident. The Goenkas thank their stars for being saved from a disastrous accident, while Vedika looks at Kartik with gratitude filled eyes. Later, Kartik wondered what was wrong with him, as he was having a feeling that someone close to him was in trouble.
Meanwhile, Suhasini and Vedika talk to each other, where Vedika was lost in Kartik’s thoughts and Suhasini laughs on Vedika. Vedika feels embarrassed while Suhasini feels elated to see Vedika in love with Kartik. Just then, the priest comes and Suhasini tells him to tell her the dates when they can organize Kartik and Vedika’s marriage. Here, Kartik feels that he should check on Kairav, as the reason for his uneasiness must be him. Just when he was about to call Kairav’s mother, Samarth comes and tells Kartik that Suhasini had called him. The priest tells Suhasini that they should organize the engagement ceremony the next day, as there was no other date in near future, when they could conduct the marriage.
Here, Kairav continuously thinks about Naira and Kartik being together with him. He feels dizzy and to Naira’s shock, faints. Naira and Lisa rush Kairav to the hospital and while he is in the operation theatre, Naira gets shattered. She wishes Kartik would be there with them and prays for Kairav’s recovery. Lisa assures Naira that Kairav will get recovered soon and that nothing would happen to him. Naira tells Lisa that the doctors were tense and wondered what was the matter with her son.
The doctors come out and ask Naira whether or not Kairav’s father or she had a medical history of clotting. Naira tells the doctor that she had a clot in her brain, but had got it removed through the surgery. The doctors tell her to get them her medical reports and that she should not delay to get them. Naira calls the hospital and the nurse tells her that she will have to come to the hospital in person and take her reports, as the reports that she wanted was old. Naira plans to call the doctor and find another way, as she wasn’t ready to leave Kairav alone and go to Udaipur.
