Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai July 15, 2019 Written Update: Kartik’s unexpected move
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see how Naira prepares to return to Udaipur while Suhasini lies on the death bed. Later, a devastated Kartik makes a shocking proposal to Vedika.
In the last episode, we see how Manish accuses Kartik of Suhasini's emotional state, while Naira makes a bold decision. Later, she consoles Kairav as he makes a big blunder. Suhasini was taken to the operation theatre while the Goenkas and the Singhanias pray for her well-being. Later, the doctors come out and tells everyone that the operation was successful. Naksh looks after Kartik while he was worried for Suhasini’s recovery. Naksh tells Kartik that he would be the first one to meet Suhasini after she regains consciousness and will tell her that he was prepared to get married again. He tells Kartik that Naira was long gone and it was now time to move on in life. For Suhasini’s sake, Naksh tells Kartik to give Vedika a chance.
Kartik tried to resist, but Naksh tells him that it was the right thing to do, if he did not want to regret. Kartik breaks down, as he knew he had to forget Naira and marry Vedika for Suhasini’s sake. He knew if it was not Naira, Vedika was the right choice for the family, as Vedika had always taken care of everyone. Kartik comes to Vedika and tells her to marry him. Vedika asks Kartik who had forced him to change his decision. Kartik tells Vedika that for everyone’s sake, he would have to marry her and that if she actually considered him a friend, she would agree to it. Vedika tells Kartik that she always wanted him to propose marriage to her, but pities on the situation.
The doctors tell the family that Suhasini wasn’t responding to the treatment and that she was sinking. Kartik panics and rushes to see Suhasini in the operation theatre, in spite of the doctors refraining him. He comes inside and tells an unconscious Suhasini that he was ready to get married and tells her to wake up, as she needed to prepare for his marriage. Suhasini regains consciousness and expresses her happiness to see Kartik and Vedika together.
