Kartik gets devastated after losing his baby.

In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the nurse comes to congratulate Kartik that there has been a baby. Kartik asks whose baby it is to which the nurse replies that it is Keerti’s baby. He is also informed that Keerti is still in a coma. Meanwhile, the Doctor informs Kartik that Naira has to go through a cesarean surgery in order to deliver the baby. Kartik goes to meet Naira and tells her about the surgery which scares her.
Naira says that she wants to have a normal delivery. But Kartik tells her to have the surgery as recommended by the doctors. Later on, Naira delivers a baby girl. Kartik asks the doctor if he could hold the baby for once to which the doctor says that they must shift the baby immediately as it is a premature baby. Kartik takes the baby and talks to her for a minute or so after which the nurse comes and takes away the baby.
Meanwhile, Kartik is very happy and goes to have a talk with Naira. The other family members too are on the way to the hospital. Dadi is very much worried about what might be happening in the hospital but Manish tries to calm her down. Meanwhile, Kartik goes to the babies ward to meet the babies. He goes and talks to Keerti’s baby boy and then asks for his own baby to which the nurse replied that his daughter has died as she was a premature baby and was very weak. This devastates Kartik who still cannot believe the fact that his baby is dead.
