Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai January 28, 2019 update: Kartik feels guilty after exchanging the babies
Everyone in the family including Naira are unaware of the fact that Kartik had exchanged Naira and Keerti's babies.
In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, the Goenkas celebrate the arrival of Naira and Kartik's baby but they keep the celebrations low as a result of the death of Naksh and Keerti's baby. No one is yet aware of the fact that Kartik had exchanged Naira's dead baby with Keerti's baby in order to save her from going into a depression. He feels guilty of denying Naksh of his rights of a father and keeping his family in dark about the entire truth. Meanwhile Keerti's delivery tag which was attached to the baby falls on the floor. Naira gets hold of it and asks Kartik about it. In order to cover up his guilt, Kartik said that he kept the tag in order to cherish the memory of the birth of Keerti's child. On the other hand, Naira asks Kartik to keep the delivery tag safely which scares him more about the coming out of the truth.
The police too arrive at the Singhania mansion along with the CCTV footage of the entire accident. Aditya's car is identified by Naksh in the footage who then asks the police to arrest him. The Singhania family express their anger and wonder regarding why Aditya attempted to harm both Naksh and Keerti. This made Naksh reveal that they had revealed the real intentions of Aditya just before his marriage cere,ony due to which he wanted revenge from them. Naksh starts to hold himself responsible for Keerti;s condition. He believes that if he had not asked her to strike the professional deal with Aditya, both of them did not have to face such a situation in their lives.
Moreover, Dadi gets an appointment with the same nurse who knows the truth about Naira's dead baby which makes Kartik scared regarding the revelation of the truth regarding the babies.
