Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai December 9, 2019 Written Update: Kartik and Naira propose each other
Today in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, after the mixup, Kartik and Naira run off to meet each other. Their families see them arguing instead of proposing to each other and decide to intervene.
In today’s episode, Naira and Kartik realise that they both have come to each other’s house was the families see and inform them about the mixup. They both run outside to meet each other to confess their love. They face a lot of obstacles on their way and remember all the moments they spent with each other. They finally meet each other midway and stop. Both the families watch them from afar and hope that they would make the moment a special one. But instead both of them begin to argue about who delayed the proposal and the families gets disappointed as they see them bickering. Unintentionally, Kartik taunts Naira and tells her that she always runs away from her problems. Naira feels upset and tells him that she had apologised for what had happened but he still was taunting her. Kartik apologises to her and tells her that he didn’t intend to hurt her.
The families get frustrated as they see them wasting time arguing with each other and decide to come out. They stop Kartik and Naira from arguing. They decide to take both of them away as they don’t seem to be interested in asking the real question to each other. Both of them get nervous and suddenly Gayu tells them that they only have 30 seconds to say whatever they want to each other. They begin to countdown and Kartik and Naira panic. They both quickly kneel before each other and propose to each other at the same time. Both of them reply with yes at the same time as well. The families celebrate and Kartik and Naira hug each other. Later, Kairav sees Kartik and Naira’s wedding photo album and gets angry. He tells Vansh that his parents didn’t invite him to their wedding. Kartik and Naira talk through puppets of a frog and a lion with Kairav. They say that they will make up for their mistake. Kairav asks them to get married again and invite him and Vansh to the wedding.
Kartik and Naira accept Kairav’s demand and both the kids get excited for the wedding. But Vansh asks them that if they get married now, would the previous marriage become invalid. The family gets worried as they feel like Vansh might be talking about Vedika and Kartik’s marriage. Kairav asks Vansh which marriage is he talking about. Vansh tells him that the one in which Kartik married Naira and didn’t invite them. Naira explains to them that some times if the marriage happens again the bond becomes stronger. Samarth decides to explain Vansh properly about the situation so that he forgets about Vedika and never brings her up again. The family begins to prepare for the wedding arrangements. They ask the priest to look up a date in the next month for the wedding. Kaveri notices that Suhasini being worried. Manish tells them that an important work of annulling Kartik and Vedika’s marriage is left. Meanwhile, Kartik calls Naira to meet him privately. He tells her that since their relationship has been formed again today, he wants to strengthen it even more. He tells her that he has come up with a special ritual for her. He shows her the board nearby that he brought to take the imprint of Naira’s footsteps. He tells her that now that she has walked into his life, he wants her to never leave. Thus, her footprints in concrete would symbolise the strength of their love.
