Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 2nd October 2017 Written Update: Kartik and Naira organise Naksh and Kirti's haldi and engagement ceremony in the flight.
Manish takes the pilot's seat and rescues everyone.
The episode starts with the pilot telling his crew members that he needs a co-pilot as the other pilot has fainted. Karthik and Naira get shell-shocked. The air hostess decides to ask the passengers if there is a pilot among them. Karthik stops her and says that it might panic everyone. He silently goes and brings Manish and tells him the entire situation. Manish tells him that he has not flown a plane since years. Karthik tells the crew members that he is a licensed pilot and he used to fly his private jet. Air hostess tells him that flying a private jet is completely different from flying a passenger plane. Karthik tells them that they have no other option other than taking his help. The other pilot asks him to send him in. Karthik tells him that he totally trusts him.
Suvarna asks Naira where has Karthik taken Manish. She tells her that he has taken him to the cockpit as one of the pilots has fainted. Everyone gets shocked. Naitik's father asks if Manish is a doctor. Akhilesh tells him that he is a licensed pilot. Other passengers start panicking and ask them to call him back as flying a plane is not a child's play. Naira tells them that the other pilot is inexperienced and nervous and hence he was in need of support. She asks them if they still want them to stop Manish from helping him. Naksh and Akhilesh request them to calm down.
Manish helps the pilot take the flight out of danger. Everyone gets relieved. Captain and the other crew members praise Manish. He tells them that he just did it on Karthik's insistence. He gets a huge round of applause from everyone on coming back. Manish attributes his success to Karthik's presence of mind. Karthik tells everyone that it's because of Naira that he went towards the cockpit and got to know about the pilot's condition. Everyone praises Karthik and Naira. Everyone gets worried to realize that there are just ten minutes away from the Haldi ceremony's muhurat.
Naira says they shouldn't lose hope and suggests having the ceremony in the plane itself. The pilot overhears their conversation and allows them to celebrate it inside the plane. Karthik and Naira leave Suhasini surprised with all the flower decorations inside the plane. She gets overwhelmed. Keerti tells Suhasini that it was Naira's idea to have a mid-air Haldi ceremony. Karthik and Naira take Naksh and Keerti aside and tell them that they won't be able to see each other's face after the Haldi ceremony and ask them to make these moments beautiful.
Naksh and Keerti find it difficult to confess each other's feelings to one another. Keerti tells him that she doesn't know whether it's an arranged marriage or a love marriage.She thanks God for sending him into her life. Karthik and Naira go and bring them out as the muhurat starts and ask them to exchange their engagement rings.
