Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 21st September 2017  written update: Naira shoots dadi

Naira points the gun at the chor group, and shoots. Everyone is suddenly shocked that it has really hit the victim. Naira drops the gun. 

Police hear the sound of the gun and get there to investigate. All the women are terrified. The police question what is happening and why she shot the other woman. Naira tries to defend herself and says that it is her Dadi when suddenly she gets up.  She starts acting and amuses all, by her antics of pretending to be hurt. The police officer asks her to shut up.  This is when dadi realises that she is alive and the police tell her she is fortunate to not be hit by the bullet.

The police van arrives and all the women are taken into custody. They try to defend themselves by saying that they were playing. To which the inspector says, “with a real gun?”. The inspector refuses to listen, meanwhile Naira tries to contact Karthik but can’t. They are herded into the police van.  

The men are planning to have a bike race. Karthik tries to stop them. But they refuse and are adamant to have a race. Exactly at that point the Police arrives there as well, and question them. They take them into custody as well because none of them have their license with them. The adults try to blame the kids by saying that it was the kids idea and so the inspector says he will take them into custody. The elders then decide to call the minister they know, but their phones are taken from them and even they are herded into the van after failed attempts at trying to convince them. 

At the Police station the women are afraid and when blamed try to defend themselves by telling the Police officer that they were just playing chor-police. And that they don't know how a real gun came in between the toy guns. Naira requests the police officer to make one phone call. All the woman contemplate on how they can cover their embarrassing actions. 

Naira feels like this is all her fault. But everyone tries to console her. And they decide not to feel guilty. At that moment a police constable is bringing in a racer group of men who turn out to be the men of their families. They wonder how the police called them, when they didn't even get a chance to tell them anything. They assume that it’s because of their big family name which because of this will now be stained with embarrassment. So all the women try to hide. 

Karthik is thinking about how kids make mistakes and adults correct them, but it is the opposite in his family. The men then spot the women hiding behind files, and covering their faces with dupattas. But are unable to recognise the women as their wives. At that point the men are called in front, and the inspector reveals that they are caught for riding bikes without licenses. They all decide to call the commissioner, minister and everyone possible throwing attitude at the police inspector who gets agitated with their obnoxious behaviour. 

The women are commenting about the irresponsibility of the men and them taking bikes for rides without licenses. And how now the whole family is in the station because of everyone’s mistakes and faults. 

The police angered refuses to give them their phones and asks the group of men to go sit in the corner. The women try to hide, as the men are trying to come towards them and talking about how no one should find out about it. The men look at the group of women and comment about their clothing and make fun of them. 

Meanwhile another man is brought into the station, and is declared dangerous because he is mad and cuts people’s hair on the roads and runs away. His main target especially is women apparently. He is sent into custody, and one of the woman is called forward, and one of the men are too. This happen to be Naira and Karthik. The inspector asks Naira to explain what was happening and lets Karthik make a phone call. 

The women are contemplating running away, so as to not be found out. And Naira acts like she is mute, at which point the men spot the gun. Exactly at that point, the power goes off, and there is darkness. And everyone screams that the mad man has run away. There is a commotion in the police station. When Kartik discovers Naira they question each other on why they are there. At that point, the power comes on and all the men and women see each other, shocked. 

Next Episode- Karthik and Naira fight. Karthik questions Naira about her men’s jacket and Naira questions him about the girls behind him, making him reveal that they went to a dance bar. Everyone is shocked.
