Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai“is constantly winning hearts of public, starring real life couple Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan as lead actors.
Kartik enters and sees Naira listening to music and acting in a casual manner he gets mad, whereas at Goenka’s panic situation prevails. Kartik astonishingly asks Naira why didn't she turn up? He showcases concern towards her with curiosity as a parallel emotion. Naira answers with the shocking statement. According to her marrying in a temple was a wrong decision! Everyone is surprised listening to it along with Kartik. She Apologises for hurting Kartik and acts weirdly when he questions her.
She feels satisfied that she didn't take a wrong decision of eloping and getting married. Justifying herself, she explains that they were going to prove everyone right by acting immature. Bluntly, taking a decision she states that they both should stay separated as it was their own decision. Kartik is dumbstruck and acts anxiously. He asks Naira, the reason behind her decision. He goes crazy after he learns that Naira has backed out. Naira is firm on her decision, but Kartik denies it. He doubts himself that if unknowingly he has hurt her and asks for forgiveness. He gets furious and leaves in despair.
Stunned he shuts the door for Naira and walks back. He is deeply hurt and cries while he starts running. On the other hand, Naira seeks forgiveness from her family. She clarifies that she has broken her relationship with Kartik forever as everybody’s hurt due to the pain she has given to her family. Besides Manish is angry at Kartik's finicky nature. Kartik breaks down in his mom’s lap and complains about Naira as he waited with the sindoor she has given. He tells about the whole situation and what Naira had done with him! He cries that he can't move on. Manish is trying to console him by going against Naira..he blames Naira for betraying him. He is shattered to see Kartik in such condition. Swarna tries hard to console him.
Kirti is hurt about the impulsive nature of Kaira but accuses Naira of not staying on her own decision. Naitik is tensed as everyone will now accuse Naira. Naira in her room feels helpless and cries her heart out.
